"OMG this is a PERFECT song. But unfortunately, eurovision fans won't like it. Because, you know... it's not a mainstream pop song. You will need luck. My heart is with you, love from Turkey" I'm highlighting the bit in bold here as it's so true. Eurovision fans will only accept Pop Music and nothing else hence why it's got so many dislikes on Youtube. Is it gonna go down as the greatest song ever? No far from it, but I do wish that people would accept something different on these singing shows that's actually decent rather than bash it every single time. I mean in particular I don't get how the Georgia song is worse than Icebreaker, or Spain's entry? Which I know is what a lot of the more stereotypical Eurovision viewers think. |
Australia has confirmed Dami Im as their representative and she will debut her song next week.
What a fantastic choice :clap1: |
Taylor should've won her year, but still not bad from Australia.
|
ew no he shouldn't have.

He should've lost the Country side though. |
well this is Douwe Bob's entry for the Netherlands
i'm embarrassed by this song, that's it's from my country the Netherlands  i think it's dated and dull I rather much support other countries, like Malta, Russia or the UK entry also is really good |
OMG YES Dami Im is a fantastic choice!
|
I assume country music is quite big in the Netherlands... haven't they done something derivative of the genre for the past five years now? It peaked with the Common Linnets :fist:

and i think Douwe will be compared to the Cyprus song, same style of music but i feel embarrassed by this song from my country  :joker: I'm gonna support, Bosnia and Malta now the Bosnia song, the more i listen to it, the more i like it and the Rap/Violin fusion sounds EPIC. and Malta well i haven't heard the song yet, but Ira Losco is a good singer, the song which she qualified from the maltese song contest with, called Chameleon, well if she has a better song, pick the better song but Malta is getting my vote and support 110% |
what about the UK Nicky :fist:

and also our neighbours Belgium have got a nice funky song, with an amazingly talented singer Laura Tesoro, i like her funny personality but i would say our dutch song, dull and dated, i wouldn't vote for it, if i could i'm a big eurovision fan, and the songs i like are the upbeat fun songs, and emotional ballads |
Netherlands need to do a Rock song if they like Country Music so much which is basically a more reserved version of Rock Music.
I'm not just saying it because Rock is my favourite genre of Music, I'm saying it because I'd genuinely be interested to see how it would sound. Or do a blended sound that sounds similar to this song. |
