Obviously that probably doesn't apply here as Raph is pretty young I'm sure that his relationships weren't that serious, i was more replying generally to whether it's better if your partner cheats with a man or woman.

Anyway either way it's not nice to be cheated on, just because a person turns out to be gay doesn't make it feel any better for the cheated on person

This. I admire him being honest and he could have bragged about it but he didnt and hasnt. Some cheaters brag and laugh about it and raph hasn't done that

He could have denied it or try to justify it, but he didn't.

Yes...and some of us apparently got how ironic applauding a cheater for being honest is. Some not so much.

Well he used it as a way to get on the show so he musn't be too shy about it. Furthermore for a guy who claims not to like human interaction he doesn't half like putting it about.

His tears were clearly put on to try and manipulate people into thinking he is remorseful when all he cares about is how the public view him.

Pretty much agree with all of this. I personally would probably react worse if the person who cheated on me was gay, I would feel that I should have known, feel guilty that they have been trying to live a lie and then cope with the fact they have cheated too.

I must say I wasn't expecting this reaction from a lot of people to Raph (who I don't know at all) being in the house. My thoughts were that though we will criticise him if he behaves badly, he is still sort of 'family' and by and large we'll be in his corner.
I'm finding the reaction towards him pretty vicious...I wonder if a little bit of jealousy is in play, not just that he got into the house, but also that he had the balls to do it...

No one says that cheating is acceptable. But I for one appreciate his honesty. :)

A tad tragic to defend someone for cheating and be generally bias just because you post on the same website as them

He could have denied it or made excuses. I think it happened in high school, when he was very young. It's no excuse of course but we all make mistakes.

No one is applauding the fact that he cheated. It was his honesty, Housemates appreciated it.

Yeah no one has said they found it acceptable or condone it, like no one went like yass raph :clap1: at his cheating or said king of cheating etc. none of that happened and will not happen. You can still support someone and not condone what they said or did, happens a lot on here and i'm not bothered about it. Nicola McLean said something vile towards Kim and i still supported her but didn't condone it and there was nothing wrong with that.
