Interesting piece of writing off the t’internet

:::

Mudryk was caught liking comments on social media criticizing Cucerella for not passing the ball enough to him a few matches ago.

Basicaly blaming Cucurella for his poor from.

His Ukrainian Club owner/coach had also made comments that I suspect Potter may have not liked.

Maybe these things have contributed to him not playing much during the past 2 matches and of course, he hasn't really played well since he arrived there...but given his price tag, I would be surprise if Pulisic continue to be picked ahead of Mudryk

I know it sounds ridiculous to say atm, even being in the quarters of CL, but both times we won the CL our domestic form was bad, and/or below average. So that could be a good omen.

Last time we won the CL we barely scrapped 4th. The first time we won in 2012 we didn't even get top 4. Like i say, it would still take something truly epic from Chelsea to win the CL this season. But, stranger things have happened in football.

I read somewhere that Chelsea were the only club who twice sacked managers and then went onto win the CL on both occasions..

Don’t know if that’s accurate though

Yeah im not sure if other clubs have done that, but Chelsea certainly have. Di Matteo for Mourinho in 2011/12 season, and Tuchel for Lampard 2020/21 season.

So yeah, another good omen maybe :joker:

Absolute diabolical reffing again

Messi was kicked from pillar to post all evening with no protection and that second goal was a direct result of Veratti getting hacked down from behind twice in a couple of seconds and the ref playing on !!

Great 2 nights for us Chelsea boys. Getting past a in form decent team, excellent performance from us too (which makes a change). And the Scummy Spurs choking against a very average Milan team.

Great stuff :smug:

Looking at the other game quickly.. Kane is probably the worst diver around and gets away with it time after time

Crazy that Jorginho and Xhaka used to absolutely hate each other yet now work together perfectly in midfield :)

Sporting may be down but they look very useful

bots 09-03-2023 05:20 PM

thought so

Zizu 09-03-2023 05:36 PM

The sporting keeper is a complete headcase .. he’s involved in all the incidents yet nothings really happened .. he’s just another cheating player

In fact when Martinelli was booked unjustly the keeper had just taken Ben White out but wasn’t seen by the ref ..

Then just then he claimed he was injured in a collision yet replays showed zero contact from Nelson
