Phil was obviously careful to visibly stay within the letter of the law, but whether or not he did anything wrong is apparently open to interpretation. |

If the Sun have any evidence to back up the allegations, then this could go to a whole new level. It becomes a criminal case automatically if the alleged perp used coercion to try and shut the story down. It looks very like that is what has just gone down

Presenter story marked by 'dangerous absence of facts', says ex-BBC executive
A former BBC news executive has claimed that a story alleging a presenter paid a teenager for sexual photos has a “dangerous absence of facts”. Tim Luckhurst told the broadcaster: “This story has been marked from the beginning by a dangerous absence of facts, at every stage there have been more questions than answers and that remains the case tonight. “The emphasis has shifted - now it seems that the parents may have raised concerns with The Sun concerns which did not directly reflect the concerns of their child. “But at no stage in this story have we seen the full details that The Sun purports to have. “I am beginning to suspect that the problem is that the facts are not entirely clear to The Sun, they’re not clear to the BBC either.” |
My purely speculative speculation would be;
It happened as described He didn't want to report it Mum reported it He's being paid to deny the whole thing. Mess :joker: |

But... I don't have a TV license (legitimately - we don't watch live TV or have a sky disk/aerial etc plugged in) and haven't had one for about 5 or 6 years now. Like I said, it's legitimate - we don't watch live TV, just streaming and gaming in this house. HOWEVER... No one has ever checked. Not ever. Not a sniff. |
