The end of tonights Corrie seemed rather sudden |
CORRIE cafe curmudgeon Roy Cropper fears he's had his chips when psychopath Tony Gordon lunges at him with a bread knife.
Twisted Tony (Gray O'Brien) coughed to Roy (David Neilson) about murdering love rival Liam Connor (Ron James-Collier) in a moment of weakness. Now all he needs to do is silence the do-gooder once and for all. After hearing his confession, Roy pleaded with the knicker factory boss to hand himself over to cops. But Tony won't risk his happiness with Maria and decides that a spot more murdering will solve his problems. Late at night Tony follows hapless Roy to Weatherfield canal with his deadly weapon glistening behind his back. But Tony makes the same error he made with Jed Stone - and loses his advantage by foolishly explaining his chilling logic about why the sandwich man has to die. So it's not long before the two men are tussling in the canal. But will they both make it out alive? |
