In a wide ranging interview on TV3 this evening,she was asked her opinion of Cher.She replied "A few times I felt like slapping her and that's being honest with you.I told her this to her face so I'm not saying anything behind the girl's back".She suggested Cher was hard work and may simply have been too immature to be on the show."I just hope she manages to cope with the pressure of fame" she added.

Ouch Mary is bitter;), Matt has already said in interviews that Cher is quiet, talented and lovely but maybe a few of these negative stories are true because you can't get on with everyone..

Oh yeah, aswell I heard that Mary said she thought she outsung Cher in the sing-off :L As if.

No way LOL, Mary is a wannabe SuBo.. she's getting a record deal now what more does she want:rolleyes:. Cher is the more interesting for the show and more marketable hence why Mary had to go.

Mary could have beaten One Direction if Cher left in the semis but the top 2 would have still been the same.. what matters is how the acts do once it's over and I suspect Cher will do better then Mary which will pee on Louis' bonfire;).

She's also doing Southport + Birkenhead twice on the 27th

X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd still gets her dad to tuck her into bed - at the age of 17.

The rapper - who was mentored by Cheryl Cole, 27 - says she can't get to sleep until her father Darren, 43, has been in to check up on her.

'My dad still tucks me into bed at night,' she says.

Cher lived in a caravan from the age of 4 months with her parents Diane and Darren and she reckons being a traveller brought them closer.

'I am proud of my background and my family,' she tells The Sun. 'We've not always had a lot, but we are happy and
always have been and we are so close.

'We've been brought up knowing we are lucky. So many people in the world are so much worse off and we've always had each other.'
