Marc 28-08-2011 05:55 PM

Ooh...why can't she just have a normal name?

Another #1 to the real winner of X Factor

CharlieO 28-08-2011 06:06 PM

I like 'Heart Skips a Beat' and 'Feel So Close'. :)

you got it right for once. What's up with that :suspect:

Doogle 28-08-2011 06:15 PM

I hate those guys in Olly's new song and it doesn't deserve #1. Moves Like Jagger ftw.

Novo 28-08-2011 06:22 PM

2 #1's now for Olly

Marc 28-08-2011 06:23 PM

Example big contender next week

An 1 with the XF Finalists

Doogle 28-08-2011 06:26 PM

Thinking of Me deserved #1 too.

bbfan1991 28-08-2011 08:12 PM

Olly deserves that number 1, that song is really good:).

He's a United fan too so that's some better news on this day!:amazed:

Callum 28-08-2011 08:17 PM

Meh, would have preferred "Moves Like Jagger" to be no. 1.

Example and Red Hot Chili Peppers have stormed the singles and albums charts this week.

Example's 'Stay Awake' is on course for the top spot on the singles chart this Sunday, closely followed by Ed Sheeran's 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You', which enters at two.

Meanwhile, Cover Drive land at number eight with their debut single 'Lick Ya Down', and Bruno Mars's 'Marry You' remains on the edge of the top ten at 11.

Nicole Scherzinger's 'Wet' climbs four places from last week to 21, Florence + the Machine remain at 24 with 'What the Water Gave Me', and David Guetta and Nicki Minaj's 'Turn Me On' starts at 39.

On the albums chart, Red Hot Chili Peppers look likely to score their third number one album with I'm With You - their first record since 2006's chart-topping Stadium Arcadium.

Elsewhere, David Guetta's Nothing But The Beat enters at number two and Bombay Bicycle Club land at five with A Different Kind of Fix.

Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV debuts at seven, and Dolly Parton's Better Day is at nine.
Another dreadful no. 1 then

MeMyselfAndI 31-08-2011 05:46 PM

Moves like Jagger deserves #1 D:

Shaun 31-08-2011 06:10 PM

Stay Awake is decent. A lot better than most of the year's #1s

Iceman 31-08-2011 08:26 PM

Chili's :worship:

have to get that album tomorrow.

Hate example, arrogant prick :bored:

Callum 04-09-2011 06:50 PM

04/09/11 Top 10:

1. (-) Example: 'Stay Awake'
2. (3) Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera: 'Moves Like Jagger'
3. (1) Olly Murs ft. Rizzle Kicks: 'Heart Skips A Beat'
4. (-) Ed Sheeran: 'You Need Me I Don't Need You'
5. (2) Calvin Harris: 'Feel So Close'
6. (6) Christina Perri: 'Jar Of Hearts'
7. (4) Wretch 32 ft. Josh Kumra: 'Don't Go'
8. (5) Will Young: 'Jealousy'
9. (-) Cover Drive: 'Lick Ya Down'
10. (18) Sean Kingston: 'Party All Night (Sleep All Day)'

Joelle. 05-09-2011 12:42 AM

A pretty poor Top 10 apart from Jar Of Hearts.

How that Ed Sheeran guy is doing so well I will never know. :bored:

Its a shame most of the Number 1's these days seem to either be by rappers or X Factor products. I would much rather see artists like Florence + The Machine and Marina And The Diamonds have more success in the singles chart.

Maia 05-09-2011 12:46 AM

Ed Sheeran is so arrogant in his new song, it's like "oh yeah The A Team did well so now I'm gonna write a song about how great I am x"

Joelle. 05-09-2011 12:49 AM

He comes across as a bit of a twat.
