And so is Aaron, the difference is his IQ stretches to 3 digits and (like me, which is probably why I empathise with him) he doesn't suffer fools gladly (and nor should he have to)

Whether he is like it on the outside i dont know-but aaron comes across as a patromising prick, thats the difference, brian might not be the sharpest tool, but he seems to not have a bad bone in his body, obviously the crowd have the same impression of arn's brother,so maybe it is a family trait.

Maybe i am in the unique position of not having a fave H/M to root for and therefore don't feel the need to be absolutely intolerant of the minutest criticism of my chosen H/M (if i had one)but (a friend of mine said) that some fans(on DS and similar sites) have been so overcome with fanaticism that it is physically impossible to have a balanced view on any other living human being, relative to aaron..

Bill, I have no way of knowing your 'generation' but I am a child of the 60's when education was worthwhile, regulated, and normal (i.e. no OFSTED "flavour of the month" changes every year) and kids took notice of, and respected, their teachers and parents... as such I see Aaron as close to being "of the old school" whilst still being a generation below me and he gives me hope for the future whereas neanderthal knuckle-draggers like Waggot (who is only 3 years Aaron's junior) drive me to despair and fallers-by-the wayside such as Belo and Alex are little better than brushers-up on the floor of humanity as far as being our hopes for the future goes.... so pass that less-than-fanatical opinion on to your friend and see what s/he has to say in answer to it

Erm ... your post was heavily slating Aaron with profane insults and mine was backing him to the hilt for his 'old school' manners and decencey.... could you explain how the latter could be seen in any way shape or form as 'validating' the former? Or are you a chip off the same intellectual block as the neanderthal knuckle dragger and unable to cparse sentences of more than half-a-dozen words some of which have several syllables in them

tomflint 11-11-2011 09:48 PM

Can't wait for this.

Who wants to bet that someone mentions Alex winning the 30k as part of the reason she didn't win

Nah I doubt that happening...it never occurred to me that it might be a factor tbh, more likely that by the end a lot of people had found their way to the ultimatebuzz forum and were a bit unhappy about her "butter wouldn't melt" fakery, despite her being outwardly likeable and pleasant during the show

What I will be waiting for is the talk about the divvy-up of the spare 50K -- will they all get 10K except for Jay & Pooise getting 9.5K or will they split it equally and get 9800 each?

Callum 11-11-2011 10:25 PM

Last Bit On the Side of 2011 now right?

Babschap 11-11-2011 10:28 PM

It's been **** every nite waiting for the Aaron bashing to begin. Tonight I can watch it knowing that he has won, and nothing they say or do can touch that!

I will enjoy!

Samuel. 11-11-2011 10:28 PM

Tonight's BOTS is only 45 minutes long :bored:

Half as long as it should be.
