Pixie Lott has entered the UK midweek chart at number one with her new single.
The singer has topped the chart with 'All About Tonight', while pop five-piece The Saturdays closely trail with their new track 'All Fired Up'. Maroon 5 slip a place down to three with Christina Aguilera collaboration 'Moves Like Jagger' and Leona Lewis enters the chart at four with new single 'Collide'. Former number one 'Stay Awake' by Example tumbles to five, while Sean Kingston's 'Party All Night' continues to rise by moving up two places to eight. Snow Patrol are lingering just outside the top ten at 11 with new track 'Called Out In The Dark' and Adele's 'Someone Like You' shoots up 13 places to 14 following her performance on last week's MTV VMAs. Further down the chart, Ms. Dynamite enters at 26 with her new song 'Neva Soft', and the latest cut from Rihanna's Loud, 'Cheers (Drink To That)', lands at 28. Example has topped the midweek album chart with his third studio record Playing In The Shadows. Adele moves up two places to two with 21, while David Guetta's Nothing But The Beat completes the top three. Further new entries come from Doris Day with her new album My Heart, which is currently sitting at number nine, and Santo Spirito Blues by Chris Rea, which rounds off the top ten. Official Album Chart logo The Drums land at 29 with Portamento, while Melanie C cracks the top 40 with The Sea, which currently resides at 31. |
There are only 1200 sales between Pixie and The Saturdays :suspect:
Should be quite close.
hope Pixie wins! Saturdays one is rubbish
Pixie on course for her 3rd #1. Excccccellent.
Should be her 5th or something but whatever :D
I hope she gets it. The Saturdays don't even deserve to make the top 40 with that festering turd of a song. Hopefully Leona or Maroon 5 with overtake them.
The Saturdays song is good for clubs yeah, but it has about 8 lines. there just repeated 100x times.
That's the thing, they've clearly realised that they will never release anything with lyrical merit that'll score a #1 so they've turned to the club vibe in the hopes that that'll do it for them. It won't. Everybody knows they're rubbish.
My irrational hatred for them gets stronger with every new release they put out... |
The Sugababes will forever be superior to all other girl bands. :hmph:
Sugababes

Sugababes  but I will never love any song they ever make like I did the song "Change". So beautiful.

Well deserved for her.
obviously did you see howmuch it was played on radio, barely deserved
LOL Haterz gon hate, you sound jealous? Are you Jealous?
Anyway yes Pixie  |
Nope, Leona got #4 and peaked at #46 on radio airplay, and was not in top 50 during her release until 2 days ago. She beat that by #42 positions, whereas Pixie Lott peaked at #2 on radio airplay & beat it by 1. If Leonas song was played half of Pixies amount on the radio it would of been #1 easily
