I don't think Max wants the Vic. He just wants to sabotage it, have it closed down and bought up by that property developer.

But how fortuitous that Max doesn't have to do a single thing considering all of Mick's/The Vic's problems are occurring with no input from him. Unless he's somehow kicked a hole in the Vic roof.

Rubbish storyline really isn't considering we all know the vic will never get closed and made into flats.
