:joker::joker::joker:

Anyway, it was Chicken Avocado, I like it! :amazed: It took me a while!

Ammi 24-03-2014 10:26 AM

...avocado is one of those things that never really grabbed me, not that food often grabs but you know...it's more because of the texture than anything though, textures is something I have a huge phobia about and why I don't eat meat and lots of other stuff...I imagine though that if you do like avocado, that's probably a good combination, Jess...

Jessica. 24-03-2014 10:29 AM

It was my first time trying avocado, that is why I was doubting if I liked it. It had a very creamy texture, it changed the consistency of the vegetables so I was really unsure, but then towards the end I embraced it and enjoyed it, glad it wasn't a waste of money. :joker:

..yeah, it's the creamy texture that I don't really like and avocado is a weird thing in that if you peel it and leave it even for 10 minutes or so, it just goes a horrible grey colour and doesn't look very edible at all...really weird...

..do you mean the thing about people seeming reluctant to help those children in the 'experiment'..?..I did want to make a post about it this morning but I just couldn't word the title in a way that wasn't too long, so I posted it in here instead, it would have made an interesting debate, I think...some mornings I just don't seem to be able to get my thought processes in motion...

Jessica. 24-03-2014 11:45 AM

Oh god, this young girl posted on fb that she and her bf had relations for the first time last night, why would someone announce that? :umm2:

It would, America have a whole TV show dedicated to these dilemmas, I think it's called 'what would you do?'
I have to say the account kaz gave had me in tears, and the central London location may have had a part to play in your scenario.
It would have been interesting to compare the same experiment in a few different cities?

Ammi 24-03-2014 11:48 AM

..yeah, it's strange how people think differently about what they perceive as private and what they don't...there are always Facebook discussions in the staffroom at work and it completely reassures me that not having it is the best thing...for me anyway....

..I we might have had a recent thread on that programme..?..yeah, I don't know if reactions would be 'regional', that would be interesting to see, living in a village and rural area, I can't imagine anyone to just walk by and not approach the child and help her find her mum but I do also understand a reluctance that some people might feel if they were worried that their actions could be misinterpreted....

..I'm just really pleased that I was a teenager when I was, the pressures seem so much more now...

Jessica. 24-03-2014 11:57 AM

I would think the last thing anyone would want to do after their first game of bed-rugby is announce it on facebook, some people are just plain crazy. :umm2: I can't stop cringing.

Niamh. 24-03-2014 12:02 PM

bed rugby :laugh2:

Jessica. 24-03-2014 12:04 PM
