I've had LJMU confirmed for months now, but then I rang up Keele Uni in Clearing and they verbally offered me a place on their course for English & Creative Writing I don't know where to go.

I got AAAC in my ASs today. Expected the C tbh. What scares me is trying to retain the As next year and also deciding what to do at Uni!

A-Level people what did you get in your A levels compared to your ASs??

I got the same in both years!

Really hoping I can get 3 As next year in my A-levels! That would be amazing.

Do a lot of people retain their AS grades?

can someone explain me whole education system in uk :)

England Wales and NI (I think?) you do GCSEs two years before you finish and then you do A-levels for 2 years.

In Scotland you do National Fives then Highers then Advanced Highers :)

Got my AS results today

AS ICT - A
AS Media Studies - A
AS Business Studies - A
AS Sociology - A

I nearly got full marks in my ICT course so I'm really pleased! Especially since most of the people at my college haven't done as well as they expected/hoped. Really didn't expect all As if I'm being honest, but really pleased!

I'm dreading second year now, A Levels are going to be even more intense :laugh: Especially with the whole system changing and stuff. My sociology final grade is gonna be 100% exam so I'll need to be prepared for it :laugh:

I'm doing my AS' this week and next. My first exam (Sociology) went quite well (I think? but I don't wanna get my hopes up). I'm not looking forward to A2 though as all my subjects are linear :(
