So the first big shock is Ding losing :o Never really liked Ryan Day for some reason

InOne 02-12-2012 06:11 PM

Judd Trump out!!! He played shocking those last frames, threw away the match.

Oh ffs, knew I should've checked back in on that match. My family insisted on watching Miracle on 34th Street at dinner :bored:

It was a **** match really, scrappy all the way through. Even the decider they were both missing easy ones.

Locke. 02-12-2012 06:31 PM

Lisowski has taken the first frame

InOne 02-12-2012 06:35 PM

Bingham is meant to be on form at the moment so he'll have a bit of a job

InOne 02-12-2012 06:37 PM

Watching Fu and Allen at the moment, the other match doesn't seem to be on red

Locke. 02-12-2012 06:39 PM

Got it on the BBC website

Steve Davis has said on the BBC Sport website that he thinks it's 'realistic' that he'll be a world champion in five years. I'm in agreement...I think we'll be hearing a lot about him over the next few years, the next big thing in snooker. Judd Trump first, then him.

So glad Luca made it to this tournament. Wasn't expecting him to progress past the first round and certainly not the second so he did really well. Excellent little player, needs to brush up on his positional play but he's definitely improved since April.

Really gutted he didn't beat Murphy this afternoon. When I got home and it was 4-3 to Luca I was quite shocked but hopeful, the couple of mistakes he made when he was 5-4 which cost him a win there were so annoying, and then once it went to a decider I knew it was in Shaun's favour. Couldn't believe how close it got at the end, and then that second pink he missed at the end was just gutting. That dull fat man always has to spoil the party.

Not quite sure how he'd have faired against Ali Carter but a potential final of Luca Brecel VS Neil Robertson would've been excellent. Nevertheless, he's done really well this week and I hope we see more of him soon

Good tournament for the English players so far ( obviously apart from Judd )

InOne 09-12-2012 04:19 PM

Shaping up to be a good final so far. Really hope we don't get more of these 52min frames though

Good win for Judd there, thought it was gonna be an early knockout for him again. He's not seemed to do that well in British tournaments

Jack_ 15-01-2013 04:33 PM

I miss Ronnie so much, it's not the same without him around :( I hope he's back for the World's in April.

Marc 19-01-2013 09:07 AM

Brilliant from Dott yesterday. Good to see him back in good form

InOne 19-01-2013 09:12 AM

He's still sooooo boring though. Watching him and Judd was awful

Marc 19-01-2013 09:37 AM

Nobody can beat Ebdon in the boring-scale

InOne 19-01-2013 09:40 AM

He's up there, who else played yesterday? I'm a bit out the loop

Marc 19-01-2013 09:48 AM

Selbey thrashed Williams, he's playing Dott now.

Murphy playing Robertson in other semi

InOne 19-01-2013 09:50 AM

Hope it's a Robertson Selby final

Iceman 19-01-2013 10:18 AM

I want Selby to win

Kate! 19-01-2013 10:20 AM

I like snooker, used to watch it religiously, haven't taken more than a passing interest recently. Must try to get back into it.
