Helen Wood was crowned the winner of Big Brother on 15th August 2014, being part of the first female Top 2 in Big Brother history and also being the first female winner in 4 years, as well as the first female winner in a series of Big Brother produced by Channel 5. She was granted a pass to the final on Day 2 by current power housemate Pauline Bennett, and if her final pass isn't counted, holds the record for having no nominations cast against her throughout her series. Helen spent 72 days in the Big Brother house, and spent the longest time in the house out of all of her other housemates, as she and Christopher Hall were the only housemates in the final to enter the house on Day 1, but she won by remaining in the house for half an hour more.
