It would be nice if she lives so we can have more episodes in years to come, I'd hate it to be so final

Viola Davies will never play the character again.

I never said it was.

The lack of any actual focus on characters like her, Connor and Oliver is making characters like her 2D villains in favour of spending the majority of one of the last episodes in flashbacks between Sam and Gabriel's mother. Instead of focusing in on our main cast whose 6 season arcs are supposed to be coming to a close.

There's no way all of the stories can be wrapped up satisfactorily in the last episode. I can only hope there's enough room to at least do Annalise justice, if not all of the regulars.

The ending.

Spoiler:

when the series first started I didnt think Annalise would die then I became convinced she would but
I'm glad they let her get justice and live with it.

Frank and Bonnie was such a sad ending but nice the true loves died with each other but i think it was a shame to kill them especially Bonnie incase they ever did make a comeback (although unlikely) or a spin off.

I'm glad the governor and laurels dad died both deserved it but it's a shame Analises mum died although she was an old lady so that was a given when you forward to the future.

Oliver is a nightmare and I'm glad Connor finally did what's right but they should have locked Up Micheala also the whole tease of Wes not being dead just for him to play his own son is kinda hilarious.

I Know Eve was who Annalise loved but I was hoping Teegan got a chance to speak and tell us they had a happy life together.

I burst out laughing at Old Connor. :joker:

A possible reboot/spin off in the future was also on my mind during the death scene too, but then given how they framed the conclusion with flash-forwards, I don't think any kind of reboot in the future would work.

I really liked the final scene, thought it was a good book end. When he was riding the bike, I thought cool he's studying law too but for him to be the teacher was nice. I also didn't understand Laurel's "You should say something" to him until that final scene when he said she was his mentor. That was a nice touch. Given how most of the cast had seemingly lost touch after Annalise's trial, it was nice to know Annalise got to play a role in his life afterwards.

That was a beautiful ending to an incredible show, I'm so glad they were able to do it justice

Ugh I'm gonna miss it so much :(

I didn't realise. Were her kids still babies when she was being sworn in. :skull:

They were like 8 years old or something meanwhile she looked like she was supposed to be in her late 60s :skull:

HTGAWM is one for the books.

Headie 29-05-2020 01:20 AM

I had no idea this was the correct way of saying it

Marsh. 29-05-2020 01:31 AM

Yeah, I googled that way back in season 4 when she kept saying it thinking I'd misheard it all along. Always found it funny how she was the only one to use the correct pronunciation, even out of characters whose name is actually Castillo.
