The lack of any actual focus on characters like her, Connor and Oliver is making characters like her 2D villains in favour of spending the majority of one of the last episodes in flashbacks between Sam and Gabriel's mother. Instead of focusing in on our main cast whose 6 season arcs are supposed to be coming to a close. There's no way all of the stories can be wrapped up satisfactorily in the last episode. I can only hope there's enough room to at least do Annalise justice, if not all of the regulars. |
The ending.

I burst out laughing at Old Connor. :joker:

A possible reboot/spin off in the future was also on my mind during the death scene too, but then given how they framed the conclusion with flash-forwards, I don't think any kind of reboot in the future would work.
I really liked the final scene, thought it was a good book end. When he was riding the bike, I thought cool he's studying law too but for him to be the teacher was nice. I also didn't understand Laurel's "You should say something" to him until that final scene when he said she was his mentor. That was a nice touch. Given how most of the cast had seemingly lost touch after Annalise's trial, it was nice to know Annalise got to play a role in his life afterwards. |
That was a beautiful ending to an incredible show, I'm so glad they were able to do it justice
Ugh I'm gonna miss it so much :( |

Yeah, I googled that way back in season 4 when she kept saying it thinking I'd misheard it all along. Always found it funny how she was the only one to use the correct pronunciation, even out of characters whose name is actually Castillo.
