I've not actually seen any of Dan's series, but anybody that can finish 1st and 2nd on both attempts is very good, even if you don't like him you can't take that away from him.

Like I said, his second run was extremely embarrassing and ended in a near unanimous loss. And he had no chance of winning as of, like, F9
