Not really surprised about the Conservative win tbh, but the amount of it is astounding, considering the fact that everyone predicted that they would fell short of the required seats.

I wonder what was the sole reason this happened?

Safe choice and/or the desire to be with the winning team? SNPīs rise and Labourīs demise in Scotland? Liberalīs absolute decimation? Millibandīs personality? Desire to get a stable government with no chance of it falling, no matter what the cost?

Just to be clear iīm not on either side atm iīm just curious.

Fun fact: The same thing (Left parties falling) happened on our elections too.
