alol "was kissing" she and Andrew kissed once and then weeks later she and Tom kissed once. And she was single so the big deal was...?

I'm not denying anything.

(I'm actually struggling to understand how this never-ending debate about percentages has any bearing on the OP but there you are.)

I'm simply pointing out that unless you know the number of votes cast then the percentages don't quite show the disparity in their popularity. And I don't think a difference of 7% is all that revealing to support a racist argument. All we know is both were evicted the first time they faced a public vote and it was quite near the end.

I don't care for the racism argument anymore, I was just trying to get the poster to understand simple Maths. :joker:

She pissed me off after a while. She wouldn't leave the house for her eviction, it was so annoying. :joker:

Pete. 27-07-2015 10:03 PM

How could anyone dislike Alison?

Marsh. 27-07-2015 10:04 PM

I don't remember her actual eviction but I remember being gutted she went.

She was hilarious.

It was awful. She kept running up the stairs then running back down them again. The crowd were like "just walk out the door bitch"

"Was kissing" is correct. She was kissing. It doesn't matter how many times it happened. Kissing occured.

She looked like a slag to the public. Simple as that. Didn't matter if she was black, green or red.

Alison is the perfect example of not all black female HMs being the same

Sadly we don't get many like Alison.

Even when I see her on daytime TV she still makes me smile.

Charley: Viewed as heavily aggressive by the public, and was constantly chanted by the crowd outside for weeks, despite not being up for eviction. Yet, Helen Wood, viewed as more aggressive than Charley and Alexandra and received 14 warning from BB in 2 weeks, won her series.

Helen had a sh*te channel 5 series, a finale pass, much less viewers and several twists on her side.

Would someone like Helen have won 10 years ago? No.

That's a sign of the direction of the show on 5, not racism.

ThriceShy 27-07-2015 11:02 PM

I'm surprised some ultra sensitive SJWs haven't cried racism over Jack's spraytan task.

Well he was ahead of her on all of the polls, including the mainstream ones.

Plus Emma never said that it was in no particular order.

Why did Pete Bennett win BB7 then? And survived eviction votes before the final too and all he did in that house was either play the drums in the garden, or go from girl to girl.

And Nick and Stuart Wilson both came 5th in their series, and the girls got all the blame for them being users, and tossers.

No offense but do you believe any allegations on these shows?:joker:

No matter what people say or what voting patterns show up you always disprove them as nothing and acceptable anyway.

Don't shoot the messenger. I am just telling you what the public did and why Mel was disliked more than Claire.

I didn't vote in any of those evictions and I don't fancy a lecture on feminism and patriarchy.

....hmmm, I haven't got past the first series/example with this and Melanie...I don't know, I would say from what I recall, if there was any 'ist' involved, it would be more sexist as she was extremely popular..(from what I recall..)...until she became more flirty and don't BB audiences hate FLIRTY ..:fist:...also I do think that she was a real threat to the Craig win and he pretty much had won the moment he confronted Nasty Nick, who was of course public enemy number 1.... /so the public had to vote her out...

Craig's win was a travesty btw.

He only confronted nick when he discovered that his own name had been shown to people. Nick had been showing craig other people's names for weeks and craig didn't say a word.
