Oh? How do you know that he wouldn't have any information?

What would 'sending a message' do exactly? These terrorists went through with the attacks knowing that they wouldn't likely survive so why give them what they want? They WANT to become martyrs for their cause, they want the afterlife they beleive they'll get for throwing their lives and the lives of others away for nothing.
