Can somebody explain why Max can just sign over all those businesses even though he doesn't own Weyland?

And also why everyone else just gets their businesses handed to them but the Carter's have to actually buy theirs back despite being conned out of thousands of pounds in addition to the pub? :think:

From what I gathered she knew that Phil was up to something "dangerous" but she didn't know what it was or who else was involved. But it doesn't make sense either way... Sharon has never acknowledged JWB or anything. It's like she doesn't exist.

I'm hoping John Yorke thought well Sharon's not been brought into the plot at all so whilst I'm speeding it up and getting rid of it I'll not drag her in and start afresh with her.

But then he's also got her acting the oblivious doormat wife to Phil and his mate Aiden.
