I’m watching this game. Arsenal just seem to be playing with no confidence whatsoever. Brighton have definitely looked like the stronger side in this half, nearly going 2-0 up as well

2-1 Arsenal

No VAR disallowed it.

That goal would have made Luiz our third top scorer in the league with three.

So do you all believe me now that we'r terrible? We gave up 20 shots for the fifth time this season. To put into perspective that period at the start of the 2nd half is easily the best I've seen us play all season in the league. SO what does Freddie do, take off an attacker for another. I still ask why no one has played Pep, Auba, Lacazette and Ozil together at the same time. Its not like we're keeping it tight at the back; we're giving up two goals a game. The defence is hopeless so I think our only tactic from now on should be to score one more than the opposition; no more complicated that that. So I ask again, why have our best four attackers never been on the pitch at the same time.

Looked like Arsenal was gonna come back at the beginning of the 2nd half, thought Pepe injected a bit of life into that team when he came on but they ended up just going back to how they was playing in the 1st half. The Lacazette substitution was a bit bizarre, IMO he was one of better players on the pitch I don’t know why they brought him off

Again it’s the defence that just let them down, giving Brighton so much space and they took advantage of that. The morale in that team must be so low at the moment, players unhappy with each other.etc. I do wonder how they’ll turn this around?

League is ridiculous this season. Anyone outside the relegation zone is two wins from Europa League and we’re in December

I watched the first half of United and there was a bit of buffering .. I also tried ChromeCasting but it froze after a few minutes each time I tried .

8:15 switched to watching the delayed Liverpool game .. decent quality on IPad and I daren’t try casting as there seemed to be a goal every 5 minutes :)

And some people say that VAR hasn't made the league more exciting.:joker:

But yeah the table is crazy, the fact that Everton are in the relegation zone is proof of that imo.

Jack Grealish is kinda suffering in comparison to Mount and Maddison as they’re playing in real good , attacking teams and have free creative roles and they both have one or two great holding midfielders behind them ( Kante - Juninho- Ndidi) BUT Jack is Villa’s best player and Captain .. he does both the creative and covering role . He can also play as the left sided forward position as Iniesta used to do for us occasionally

He’s an amazing player and has been for about 5 years and still so young 23/24 ? He put in some fabulous performances when he was last in the premier league about 5 years ago at 18/19 years old

I don’t hold much hope of keeping him, but we’re a couple of players off a really good top half side. It’ll take a huge wedge of money for us to sell him though. City/Liverpool/Spurs for 70m+

Throwing lighters and bottles on to the pitch and hitting 2 players with lighters then one fan did what looked like a monkey gesture to the 2 black players by the corner
