Starmer is right if any company is seen to get away with these practices it will snowball.

To me though there are sectors where this is happening by stealth, the plan was to flood everywhere with 0hr contracts, however that has backfired as now they have rights thanks to campaigners. Then there was the 'self employed' con for couriers, taxi drivers and such.
Now we are harking back to the 90s with 'temporary workers' these are filling roles it was sold as 'jobs that Brits don't want' which of course is rubbish. Warehouse workers, nurses and truckers are affected.

Many jobs in the UK aren't even advertised here. To me this is modern day slavery.

Yes it is far worse in Sri Lanka
