one of its kind this year too, but a huge shame on how those depressing sad songs seem to be preferred

Tbf Moldova, Finland & Norway are in the final for more uptempo Music.

And Czech Republic.

Tbf we lost to Germany and Serbia last year when their songs were clearly worse.:joker:

And I say that as someone that disliked last year's UK entry.

Hypocrite Osterdahl, loser executive supervisor :idc: :idc:

"I am what I am"

Eurovison has moved on 20 years from this type of gaybaiting claptrap.

The VIllage people did this song in 1978, Gloria Gaynor had a huge hit in 1984

She needs to sing her own songs and not chase after the Virtue Signalling facebook likes

We used to get voted bottom even when we had great songs ..

Can’t imagine much has changed

I think Sweden has a good chance of winning. That song is gorgeous!

Vanessa 14-05-2022 07:54 PM

Mika has messed up already :joker:

Surely the countries with the biggest populations has the advantage from the public votes ??

Happy with Ukraine winning.
Great result for the UK.
Also decent from Italy, it could have been worse

Only caught the end because I’m in Hawaii but thought it was a bit distasteful how the ukraine celebrated their win. Yay 40,000 people died so you could win a silly song contest. They should have been more somber.

Absolutely insane night. Hopefully this is the kick up the ass for whoever is in charge of our entries and what not and gives them the incentive to really put time into finding great acts and songs to send.

Because tonight proves we CAN do it. Bravo Sam!

Favourites of the night: Sweden (LOVE), Spain, Lithuania, Finland (The Rasmus took me back to my teenage years as a wannabe skater), Czech Republic. Norway and Moldova were a lot of fun too.

no the votes cast get reduced down to the 1-12 proportion ... same as the jury panel, for each country

Nicky91 15-05-2022 07:31 AM

disgusting Ukraine :yuk: :yuk:

Cherie 15-05-2022 07:38 AM

Nicky91 15-05-2022 07:47 AM

UserSince2005 15-05-2022 08:03 AM

How can the ukraine band be proud to win the song conest when they literally only win because 10s of thousands of their country men lay dead, it’s just disgusting.

Cherie 15-05-2022 08:04 AM

Nicky I don’t know why you are so surprised Ukraine were always going to win this

I don’t often agree with you but it doesn’t really sit well with me either

which is why i have more respect for the juries from Malta, Serbia for not giving many points to Ukraine

you don't have to give points to Ukraine, but it is a must to support Ukraine outside of eurovision

it is absolutely disgusting that politics have won in this show, my show has been ruined now :bawling:

and well, i am a man of my word now, and my personal winner is Malta, also good that it is been proven now that they play things fair and square in terms of juries

Emma Muscat didn't deserve last place in semi and i am positively surprised about her avoiding that and also with 20 televote points in the semi, well that is better than 2017 and 2018 for them, where they got 0 and 1 televote point respectively, Emma is such a beautiful person on the inside too, also her song might've been ''basic'' ''been there done that'' but as long as you got rubbish like cancel culture, negativity, conflicts in this world you need uplifting self-love anthems such as what she went for this year

but i hope she returns with a powerhouse slower ballad some year, with more experience too, she deserves so much successes for the good person she is, yes she really is 110% passionate about music

and let's go Sam & Emma upcoming summer, hyped for that duet of theirs in Malta, hopefully they can do more social media content together as well

my sort of eurovision is love for music and music alone, no politics into this show, leave rivalries outside of this contest as well and respect each others music

feel bad for Russian artists as well how they cannot be in this contest anymore all thanks to Adolf Putin
