It's even moreso a waste of time this week and next. With Johnson occupying the office now of PM as just a puppet. Not really anything to go on. So apart from the fury of the Speaker at the start with the ALBA MPs. This PMQs and possibly next week's are in effect pointless. This one definitely so. Johnson's hands now in effect tied, so nothing to really ask or go on about really. |

Is there any point in PMQs though ? What do they ever achieve Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
the point in pmq's is not necessarily the answer thats given, but the content of the question itself. By asking the question, the person is publicly highlighting a topic that can then be discussed further in the public domain

result of first round expected at 5pm. Let's see if Penny is the favourite in reality

[Results of latest Tory leadership knockout at 5PM:
Blow for Rishi as bombshell poll finds frontrunner would LOSE to Liz Truss OR Penny Mordaunt in head-to-head ballot of party members - as MPs vote to decide who will stay in contest Rishi Sunak has been endorsed by Boris Johnson ally Steve Barclay as he racks up support from Tory MPs Former Chancellor's team is said to be trying to make victory look 'inevitable' with huge number of backers Penny Mordaunt has officially launched her campaign promising to restore the Conservatives' 'sense of self' They are among eight hopefuls who have made the first round of voting today but not all will survive the ballot Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries last night accused Team Sunak of the 'dark arts' and 'dirty tricks' on Twitter] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ote-TODAY.html |
if the tory membership want Penny, a lot of mp's will switch over to her and quite a few of the candidates could struggle to get the magic 30 today
