$40 Million for WWE Jake

$20 Million for Mike Tyson (who needs that Cash)

Dogeatdog 16-11-2024 10:25 AM

Shocking that this fight was even allowed to go ahead. Tyson is 58 years old and JP is 30 and you could tell by the 3rd round Tyson was gassed out.

He's 27

The real winners of this debacle were all the boxing fans who did not watch or pay for it

Swan 16-11-2024 04:05 PM

Went down a mates to watch this last night, mainly for spectacle of watching Tyson box live. It'll never happen again. And we were too young to appreciate him in his prime. Anyway, it was crap. Best fight was Taylor's easily. Glad Tyson, and some talented boxers got a decent payday. But hopefully this is the end of the Youtuber/Infulencer vs Retired boxer/MMA fighter fad.

Sadly not ..the YouTuber knows that he will make another fortune if he manages to get Canelo to fight him

Well, i wouldn't be too opposed to watching that one tbh. As Canelo will humble him.

He’s supposedly about 15kg ( 33lbs ) heavier than Canelo though

Does that mean she should or shouldn’t ?

She’s only got one or two boxing fights left in her but she could do MMA for another few years probably AND make an absolute FORTUNE ..

Oh I thought you were being sarcastic  sorry

She's 38 years old now, if she has 2 more boxing fights she'll probably be 40 retiring, I think that's probably too old to retrain in a whole different sport tbh I doubt she'd want to anyway

There’s only the two ‘trilogy’ fights left though and does she want another couple of wars that she could easily lose

UFC would be a massive payday with little risk

I’m sure I heard that she included a bit of MMA stuff in her training ( as does Tyson Fury for example )

She would either overpower and stop her opponent with a constant barrage of punches OR may get taken down and choked out fairly fast or she could tap out after talking little punishment

I just couldn't see her doing it tbh. She could lose either of the fights she has left absolutely but that's never stopped her going for challenges anyway

Easy money ( life changing money ) ??

Would she be able to turn down £5 to £10 million ?

I’ve heard talk of Serano or another of Taylor’s previous opponents saying they would be up for fighting Taylor in the Octagon about 6 months ago

Possibly not but the chance of life changing sums of money can do strange things to someone’s rationale

True but it's not like she's short of money now either, she's worth a few million

Guess so

Maybe it’s something for the future

Can’t see her settling down to knitting and Loose Women in her retirement

No me neither but I think she's more likely to stay involved with Boxing in some other way, maybe as a coach or something like that

True enough

It’s wether that is enough though
