The daughter goes into these trances, and speaks of this place called Silent Hill. The mom wants to take her to the town to see if that will help her somehow. The dad didn't want her to bring their daughter.

Yeah, it was only ever a choice between the Wii and the PSP for me though as I'm pretty sure the PS2 is broken.
