And as I am up-staged by the music we have reached the end of the quiz. Time to see how everyone has fared after that battle royale of missing vowels.

Just narrowly missing out on a medal position it's Shaun with 9 points, terrible luck, just another point would've got you to third.

Leading us into 3rd place, out bronze medalist is *Kate* with 10 points, a fantastic opening to Missing Vowels got you back into the running, and again, you could've taken a higher position with just a few more points.

Our silver medalist, due to blazing through the earlier rounds, is Livia with a very impressive 12 points, my connections just don't stand a chance against you sometimes, I do need to up my game :L Very well done to Livia.

But the winner of the second game of Only Connect, by sheer might and determination, is Marc with 16 points. Excellent performance by Marc, consistent through all the rounds, some points by skill, some by luck, and some simply by waiting it out (Livia may be bitter), you have taken the crown from GiRTh. 16 seems to be the score to beat these days!

So, lets accumulate those scores with those from game 1 to see how you've all fared over the course of the past 30 pages!

It's safe to say we have some really excellent quizzers amongst your ranks, and Livia may start suffering from "Always a Bridesmaid" syndrome if she doesn't win the next game :L

Speaking of the next game, I'd like to propose a format change, potentially. TiBB does enjoy it's games to be events rather than the sort of passive game I've been using, so I might like to host an OC tournament. In teams of 3, players would play against another team in 2 semi-finals and 1 grand final. This would of course need 12 players (4 teams of 3) and I'd need to get proper permissions and write up 3 new quizzes, but is this something you'd all be interested in? Or do you prefer the format we are currently using?

Of course, I could run the tournament as well as the current thread, having the tournament as a one off, it's all good!

Anywho, it's been a wonderful game. I'm currently in the process of writing more questions (I always am!) so hopefully the wait won't be too long before you get to fire up those neurons once more.

Just letting everyone know the questions for the "Tournament of Twelve" are coming along very nicely! I have 2 of 6 walls done, 13 of 18 sequences, and 12 of 18 connections! :D And some of them are my most fiendish yet, even worse than that seed one that pissed you all off.

I would suggest you start looking at forming teams of three, because I'll be getting applications ready as soon as I get the go ahead for the tournament :)

GAME 3 (Warm up game)

It's been a while, hasn't it? Oh don't look at me like that, we've both been busy, we've haven't made time for each other, but we shouldn't fight. I can see in your eyes you still feel the same, so why don't we just set our anger aside and quiz like we used to?

Yes Only Connect is back on TiBB, and this game is hopefully going to act as a warm-up to the "Tournament of Twelve" I'll be running afterwards, this game will allow folks to get back into the swing of the game and hopefully organise some teams of three.

So, we'll recap over the rules: In this first round, Connections, you will all see up to 4 clues, I simply need to know what connects them. You get 5, 3, 2 or 1 point depending on how many clues you need, and you can guess once per clue. Please don't Google, Bing, or Ask Jeeves, as it will simply ruin the game for everyone!

Gandalf turns from Grey to White but all the rest are from black to white, we have the "fumata bianca" when a pope is chosen, the black disks in Othello (Or Reversi) become black, Gandalf the Grey becomes Gandalf the White at Moria, and of course, a Black Russian becomes a White Russian when you add cream.
