Also, essentially, both of your big fears can't be true at the same time. If Covid was hanging around in the air all over the place for hours, then the infection rates by this point would be massive - if they ARE massive, then the mortality %age risk is actually tiny. If the mortality risk is as high as you fear it is (5%+) then it's impossible for the virus to be truly airborne, as the death numbers would be higher. Anyway, have had a google and the only really readable info is from the WHO itself. The rest is actual papers and extremely jargon-filled. Quote:
That's a WHO scientific brief from the 29th of March (the article you posted is from the 11th). I do remember reading the info on aerosolization probably around the 15th-20th but can't find the specific things I read at the time. |

Managed to get a Morrybobs click and collect for the 22nd.
Son and daughter in law will pick it up for us and pop it in the porch. It’s a few miles away but the nearest one that does it. |

Went to my local Tesco express this morning, only a small shop, had to queue for a few minutes to get in but they were pretty well stocked, they had 3 item limits on a lot of things, got all the essentials though, the cashiers having spit guards on the tils span my head a little bit

Walked straight into M and S yesterday...no queue
Queued for 25 minutes at Sainsbury’s even though the queue was twice that of the previous week but took same amount of time to get in...prob because they stopped people shopping in couples ...everything back to normal...a wall of TP and kitchen roll, pasta and flour While we were in the queue a couple arrived she was heavily pregnant, they told the security guy that they had something on order from Argos and asked if they had to queue, she let them in 10 minutes she came out with a small item...no sign of him so I expect he was inside shopping with a basket :fist: |

And there was a guy ahead in the queue doing Louie Spence moves so that passed the time

When Alex was queueing outside Morrisons, someone else in the queue spoke to him and he answered. When the guy behind heard his accent he said "****ing hell mate, how long was the queue when you joined it?"

I queued for 25 mins yesterday at sainsburys to collect from argos. When I was at the front a guy came up and asked to jump the queue as he only wanted cigs, the security told him no....he said but I only want cigs....the guy said everyone has to queue and I've just watched you park in a disabled bay and you have not displayed a blue badge, the guy said yeah but I thought I would only be 2 mins, the security guy said well you better move your car and join the queue.....it started to get a bit heated....then it was my turn to go in. Kept me entertained anyway
