The Dead Zone, with Christopher Walken. One of my favourite movies of his.
And I also love the spin off show. |
...Anna and the Apocalypse...a musical comedy horror...it strangely actually worked quite well, I enjoyed it...the storyline didn’t offer anything new but it was just all an easy watch for what it was....I would say 6/10...
|
...What They Had.......I don’t know what to say, having a mum who has Alzheimer’s, it was just incredibly emotional and well done.../...very, very moving...7/10...

O Brother, Where Art Thou?
I thought this was brilliant. Very entertaining story, lots of funny moments, good music, and the three main characters were all great. Perfect run time for a mid afternoon film as well at just over an hour and a half 8.5/10 |
Nomadland
I didn’t realise until after watching that Swanky, Linda May and Bob play ficitionalised versions of themselves It did feel at times like a documentary rather than a movie thought provoking film, and hard to believe that there is a community of nomads in the States 9/10 |
The Addams Family. Hilarious :joker:
|
...The Vanished......it was okay, it wasn’t great/it wasn’t awful...but I’m not sure it was that well thought out/well written...5/10, I think...

Interview with the vampire.
With a very sexy Tom Cruise :flutter: |
Saint Maud - ****e
The Meg - expected it to be ****e and it was |
The Debt - It was decent enough 6.5/10
|
Dead Silent. A good watch. 8.5/10
And the dummy was really creepy. Spoiler: |
Willy's Wonderland - that was the weirdest, most stupid movie I've ever watched, still couldn't stop watching it. A Nicholas Cage classic. So bad it's almost good [emoji1] I can't rate this

Judas and the Black Messiah
10/10 True Story |
Wrong Turn (2021)
Despite warnings to stick to the Appalachian Trail, hikers stray off course and cross into land inhabited by a hidden community of mountain dwellers who use deadly means to protect their way of life. Suddenly under siege, the friends seem headed to the point of no return -- unless one man can reach them in time. Spoiler: 3/10 |

Freaky - 7/10
Pretty good, pretty funny too, I feel like the ending was a bit stupid though |

...This Is Where I Leave You....just a really light and easy in the eye movie...nothing to inspire or stir any thought but a nice cast and family story......

Raya and The Last Dragon
I really loved this a lot more than I thought I would. It starts off like most Disney films these days, a girl and a powerful being off on a journey to save the world... It's essentially Moana at first glance, but the film outgrows the familiar set up to deliver something with a lot of heart. 8/10 |
empire strikes back
9.5/10 |
The Babadook - decent film but the ending was stupid and let it down 6/10
Game Night - seen it before but still a scream, love how they film some of the scenes in camera angles which you play the games in 7/10 The happening - it should not have happened 4/10 Girls Trip - seen it before again, and loved it just as much 9/10 |
