It's weird how Dappy is doing better on his own when he was the worst part of the group.

Really?

They would all tell you that Dappy made the group.

In importance.
Dappy
Fazer
Tulissa.

I'm pretty sure No Regrets went above 1D around late Tuesday/Wednesday.

Either way. Chip's Champion was outselling Jessie J's Pricetag and was top of the midweeks yet lost out in the end...what a travesty that was.

Yeah Dappy was the key member but he was always the one giving them a bad rep, that's what I meant.

Ahh right fair enough.

He also got them alot of attention with his earlier antics though. He's matured since then however, just like Tulissa has but she gets an easy ride for being Simon's little buddy.

A top 5 hit is a good achievement for a U.K rapper. Never mind fighting it out for top spot :D

Benjamin 29-02-2012 12:56 AM

Really don't like Gotye or Somebody that I used to know, More over rated than LMFAO

Callum 05-03-2012 04:55 PM

Gotye #1 again and likely to stay there this week too.

Marcus Collins hasn't even made the top 5 on iTunes :laugh2:

Brother Leon 05-03-2012 04:56 PM

Cmon Tinchy. Get a top 5.

It's not even been out 24 hours yet.

If it isn't in the top 10 at the end of the week, I'l be worried.

Yeah but a lot of singles in the past which were released at midnight on Sunday have had no trouble getting to no. 1.

Smithy 05-03-2012 06:00 PM

he's @ #6

Brother Leon 05-03-2012 09:41 PM

Tinchy overtakes Marcus Collins on iTunes :worship:

Gotye is on course to spend another week atop the UK singles chart.

The Australian star's global hit 'Somebody That I Used To Know' retains the number one position on the midweek chart, while Alexandra Burke's 'Elephant' trails 7,000 copies behind at two.

Nicki Minaj remains at three with 'Starships', Emeli Sandé falls two places to four with 'Next To Me' and Flo Rida completes the top five with 'Wild Ones'.

Taio Cruz leaps 15 places to 19 with new single 'Hangover', Jason Mraz enters at number 23 with 'I Won't Give Up' and Azealia Banks make her UK chart debut at number 27 with '212'.

Further down the chart Coldplay climb five places with 'Charlie Brown' up to number 33, while LMFAO's new single 'Sorry For Party Rocking' is at 36.

Over on the album chart The Military Wives take hold of the top spot with their debut album In My Dreams, which debuted at number two on Sunday's listings.

BBC Sound of 2012 winner Michael Kiwanuka reside at number two with his debut collection Home Again, while Emeli Sandé's Our Version Of Events completes the Top 3.

Elsewhere Lana Del Rey's Born To Die is at number six and is less than 100 copies ahead of Marcus Collins's self-titled debut, which is at seven.
Looks like Gotye will stay #1 for a fifth week then, I'm pleased because I hate the new Alexandra Burke single.

also LOL at Marcus Collins' album only at #7, he is such a flop.

Iceman 14-03-2012 09:49 PM

Has there always been so many features in the charts, only 2 songs in the top 10 update are solo....

The UK still has **** music taste then

Brother Leon 15-03-2012 12:11 AM

27?

**** should never be that high tbh. Then again, anything with some sort of autotune or sound effects which also makes your typical music buyers think they are cool listening to will chart these days.
