I understand why most of the others are annoyed by it, however. It's such a last-minute arrangement including a lot of good wrestlers who could've been part of matches with fleshed out storylines...but that doesn't seem to be the case with Evolution in general.

The entire build for Evolution has been shameful, more than obvious the whole thing is yet another PR stunt rather than them actually caring about their female talent.

And they seem to have plonked all the Smackdown! women apart drom Charlotte and Becky in the battle royale.

The whole idea of a Female Only PPV was a stretch anyway. There was always going to be these sort of matches.

What were they expecting. None of them have build for anything. I'd take a battle royal over loads of thrown together tag matches.

This is what's so pissy about it, they could have done... but obv creative have decided to be lazy. None of these women were even featured on SD! 1000 last night promoting this match in the slightest way (probably punishment for the Tweets), it's totally throwaway and sucks.

Storm vs. Shirai will clearly be Match of the Night, with Lynch vs. Flair at close second I'm guessing. The NXT UK match could also be surprising.

Because you can count on one hand the number of females that are truly fleshed out as Characters or receive a consistent reaction from the audience. I’m all for the Revolution and I’m on board with the rumoured WM main event too, but this whole PPV seems meh to me.

This is gonna be such a cluster omg that's 20 women confirmed, probably more added over the next week, Christ.

I don't agree. There are plenty of women across WWE (including Hall of Famers) and NXT that are captivating characters (not saying all, there's certainly room for improvement concerning how female wrestlers are utilized, especially in WWE), and an all-women PPV could've been really successful if it wasn't in the hands of a shoddy creative team. The interest is there, regardless, and this may (lol, it won't be but oh well) still be the ignition to see some underappreciated female wrestlers finally be heralded.

Your typical WWE-fan would've done a better job booking this PPV and making it a spectacle. I'm aware that numbers-wise a match like this was inevitable, but the battle royal and the PPV still could've been good if it was given the attention it deserved and was booked correctly.

The thing that bothers me most is that people like Ivory, Alundra Blaze, etc. could've wrestled in random single/tag matches and it would've had a better effect than them being in a battle royal that drowns them out completely (and if that needed to happen, we could've just waited to see them in next year's Royal Rumble). Same goes for the current talent; I'd rather see The IIconics (or even Absolution) in a tag match that gives them the chance to perform to the best of their ability, as opposed to a battle royal that won't give them that opportunity and which they obviously won't win.
