Can someone please tell me who Stuart is (the bold man behind the bar), why he's there and where Mick is. Quick rundown, thank you in advance

He is Mick's best friend

He kidnapped Tina when they were younger and when it all came out shot himself and framed Mick who is now in prison.

Linda is pretending to fall for him to hope he confesses the truth

Gstar 10-12-2018 01:14 AM

Ooooh that actually sounds interesting

Gstar 10-12-2018 01:35 AM

I like Mels storyline about her cheating fiance

Gstar 10-12-2018 01:36 AM

Not here for Kim being a background character now

Gstar 10-12-2018 01:43 AM

Omg this teen lesbian storyline

We have our new executive to work with Kate

Gstar 10-12-2018 03:41 PM

omg I didn't press send, was supposed to post this last night:

Enjoyed the rewatch, there's a few decent storylines and the writing has improved/gone back to normal. Back when I stopped watching during spring it felt like a sitcom and the writing was a joke. The show feels like it's going in a different direction, for the better or for the worse it's too early to tell. It still needs some more life, at this time of the year the atmosphere should be more intense, still feels a bit dead for December compared to last year.

The show ISN'T terrible anymore

Christmas looks brilliant. Eastenders always delivers at Christmas

Nah, still think he meant Shane Richie.

The cliffhanger will be about the "event" which leaves one person with blood on their hands.

Richie said as much in his last interview.

Gstar 10-12-2018 03:48 PM

When Ian was talking about Peter at the choir I sensed some atmosphere/possible indication of a Peter rihturn for Christmas, which would be nice because he doesn't have any of his children around him

Gstar 10-12-2018 03:52 PM

Actually can we discuss how lovely the choir scene was, Ian talking about Lucy whilst choir songs were being sung in the background. It felt like the end of an era (The whole murder storyline and aftermath - Jane, Bobby, Max etc.), Ian also stating that she would be turning 25 adds to this as 25 is often seen as a mini milestone/turning point age

Yeah I think a recast Peter will be one of Kate Oates returns.

She'll probably do a Robert and have him return gay.

I think Kate Oates will recast Peter, bring back Janine and Bobby.

BBUK-Fan 10-12-2018 04:24 PM

Imagine if the death was just Bev

Denver 10-12-2018 04:43 PM

I think it is certain the death is Stuart

I'd be here for a bisexual Peter tbh....Just as long as they don't make him cheat every few months or forget he is bisexual until it gets brought up once in a blue moon a la Sonya and Steven.
