That's 100% her, it's a bonus track on the japanese edition of The Fame.

How amazing does she look here, i wish should dress like this more often

Deirdre 06-02-2010 07:37 PM

I love that picture. She just looks so normal. I bet she's great with kids too!

definitely. The music would be just as catchy and she'd be as good a performer but she'd have never been given the launchpad to show off this without her quirks and kooks. Half the reason she's so huge is because the amount of publicity and word of mouth she generate, most of which doesn't come for her music. Plus, when you listen to her music as stand alone tracks, most of it doesn't sound particularly special or unique.

M X 06-02-2010 08:09 PM

i think her music is very unique. in a way that, there was no fillers on The Fame and there was no fillers on The Fame Monster.

MrGaryy 06-02-2010 08:13 PM

in my opinion The Fame is absolutely ridden with fillers. Summerboy, Starstruck, Paper Gangsta, Brown Eyes, Eh Eh, I Like It Rough, Money Honey, perfectly nice, catchy songs but nothing even remotely special or different about them and don't even compare to the singles or Beautiful Dirty Rich, The Fame, Boys Boys Boys.

TMF benefits massively from it's length in that there are no fillers, in my opinion, though I imagine many would argue Monster and SHICD are there to make up numbers.

Eh Eh was a single though, hardly a filler tbh

Just because a song was a single doesn't mean it isn't a filler. In retrospect I let my personal opinion slip on that one, it isnt really a filler.

M X 06-02-2010 08:30 PM

I think all of those songs are awesome. Brown Eyes is one of her best, and Summerboy and Starstruck are Gaga classics.

Monster & SHICD are fan & critic favourites.

MrGaryy 06-02-2010 08:32 PM

I think they're awesome too, and classic they may be, imo, they are still there to make up numbers and don't even begin to compare to the album's strongest tracks.

Brown Eyes reminds me of The Beatles or Queen.

MrGaryy 06-02-2010 09:08 PM

...thats nice LOL.

M X 06-02-2010 09:24 PM

LOL i know you might think you can't compare them or that it was random, but it just does remind me of them.

MrGaryy 06-02-2010 09:28 PM

I can see the Queen comparison alright, I just thought it was a bit random to the discussion LOL. But yeah I can see it, granted a watered down version but yeah.

Ross 06-02-2010 09:32 PM

still haven't got my tickets :(

I have to disagree completely. I honestly think any track on The Fame would make a great single, it's only JD, PF, LG, &Paparazzi were of an unusually high standard, so it makes the rest look worse when in fact, I think loads of other artists making similar music would benefit from having anything like The Fame.
Summerboy, Paper Gangsta, ILIR + Brown Eyes are so underrated IMO.

The Fame Monster is A LOT better than The Fame, definitely. I again, disagree about Monster being a filler as I think it's possibly one of the most important tracks on the album [what with the album title, and the references to 'Pop Ate My Heart' and her video interludes from The Fame Ball]. Alejandro + SHICD are the only tracks I find a tad mehh, but even then, they're still fantastic.

edit;; didn't read your next post, you basically said what I just have LOL.

Oh, and Brown Eyes/Speechless are both Queen-style tracks, definitely.

Lady Gaga releases her first lipstick on March 18, 2010 called 'Viva Glam' and all proceeds with go the MAC AIDS fund. She will appear on Good Morning America and The Today Show to promote it, next week.

MarkWaldorf 07-02-2010 03:20 PM

I agree with you Gary! TFM is brilliant, but I hardly ever play Teeth and Dance in the Dark.
