in all honesty I don't see why Hillsborough is such a huge deal... it's treated like 9/11 by some fans :umm2: obviously tragic but there's so much ill opinion about it on all sides, just wish people would stop talking about it

Drew. 28-04-2014 08:54 PM

Thats 4th place done and dusted, our league campaign is pretty much over after tonight. Ozil, Koscielny and Ramsey yet again amazing.

If the goal difference between the top 2 is down to 5 or 6 on the final day Liverpool could quite easily get that against this Newcastle side, should be a great end to the season for the title and relegation.

Brother Leon 28-04-2014 08:55 PM

It's a huge tragedy. Hell..for me it effects me more than 9/11 with it being at an English football match. Could of been any of us. My heart truly goes to those effected and the two times I went Anfield I was chilled when looking at the memorial. It's just sad that false accusations that severe are made, which is my point.

Shaun 28-04-2014 08:55 PM

right then, time for Chelsea and City to lose all their remaining games and for us to snatch 2nd :flutter:

Drew. 28-04-2014 08:57 PM

2 weeks of this thread left

Is there a stats table for clean sheets or the table for golden glove contenders? Surely Chesney has a chance of winning it.

Shaun 28-04-2014 09:01 PM

just from wiki, not sure how updated they are

1 Petr Čech Chelsea 16
2 Tim Howard Everton 14
Wojciech Szczęsny Arsenal
4 Artur Boruc Southampton 13
Hugo Lloris Tottenham Hotspur
6 David de Gea Manchester United 12
Julian Speroni Crystal Palace
8 Joe Hart Manchester City 11
John Ruddy Norwich City
10 Simon Mignolet Liverpool 10

Drew. 28-04-2014 09:01 PM

Cech out injured so we'll need to get 2 clean sheets from the last 2 games then

Drew. 28-04-2014 09:02 PM

Ozil in that interview, what a guy

Black Dagger 28-04-2014 09:03 PM

Well done Arsenal -hopefully this means Everton don't turn up now at the weekend-

Black Dagger 28-04-2014 09:04 PM

Oh and thank god there is only two weeks left, I'm exhausted tbh, my first campaign is nearly done and dusted.

Shaun 28-04-2014 09:05 PM

you've done us proud lucas

Drew. 28-04-2014 09:06 PM

Football threads will probably be even more active in the summer with the WC and transfers actually, Especially this year with transfers, every club will be busy.

Black Dagger 28-04-2014 09:08 PM

Thank you Shaun xo

And yes, that is true. Martin going to make a last minute serge to get on the plane to Rio so he doesn't have to play Fifa with Micah, Lescott, Jovetic, Kolarov. Richard Wright and Nastasic all summer </3

Brother Leon 28-04-2014 09:09 PM

Thank god the Season is finished nearly. On to the summer.......but only after another "Agueroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" moment. Or "Hazaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard" even.

Black Dagger 28-04-2014 09:10 PM

Aguero won't do it this season, he's practically said 'I love you City but I don't want to get injured before the WC so I'm holding back' we'll have to go with DEMICHELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS instead.

Samuel. 28-04-2014 09:14 PM

Skrteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel

Ryan57 28-04-2014 09:17 PM

And it's ruled offside...

Brother Leon 28-04-2014 09:25 PM

Ruled out for hitting the Rock Bottom finishing move if it's Skrtel.

King Gizzard 28-04-2014 09:27 PM

King Gizzard 28-04-2014 09:27 PM

Football always ends up being a chore and I always end up happy that it's over

MTVN 28-04-2014 09:44 PM

Well I am absolutely buzzing to beat the Spurs for the third time in a season on Saturday

King Gizzard 28-04-2014 09:53 PM

Deep down I've got this feeling where I know we are getting relegated

Shaun 28-04-2014 09:54 PM

you'll be fine, Nathan, Bacuna will put those hull bastards to the sword

Think he was on 14 before tonight, 15 now so he still needs 2 clean sheets to win, Cech will win if its tied as hes played less minutes.
