Preview of new song 'Inside Out' from Femme Fatale

Doesn't sound amazing so hope this is not the second single, sounds rather filler.

Callum 22-02-2011 12:29 AM

Second single is coming soon :amazing:

Dr Luke tweeted yesterday

Quote:

maybe i'm sending brit's next single out for mix now!!!....
Can't wait to hear it!! Only 35 days until Femme Fatale

A lot of Britney fans are getting pissed about the lack of promo for the album and HIAM. I haven't gave up hope yet, I think she could do some in the week before the album drops, like with Circus. I doubt she'll do any over here though, it would shock me if she did.

New preview, song is called 'How I Roll'

M X 24-02-2011 11:35 PM

Snippets are sounding great, I I I Wanna Go O O is my favourite so far. :)

She needs to start promoting! Fans are getting so bored.

Callum 24-02-2011 11:53 PM

Same, sounds so good, can't wait to hear it in full. :D

I'm sure she'll do some, even if it's just in America, she said on Twitter she was doing some so it's just a waiting game now but did any Britney fan seriously expect her to do worldwide promo for this era? Sadly I don't think that'll be happening anytime in the near future, she hasn't done proper promotion for her music since the In the Zone era. I just hope the album is great, then that will make up for her lack of promo.

I'll be really upset if she doesn't promote worldwide. I'm sorry but there is no excuse for it, it's her job. I'm not calling her lazy, but Hold It Against Me has been out for almost 2 months and we are still yet to hear her utter one word. It wouldn't take much to just pick up the phone and talk to one radio station for five minutes.

I have a feeling that in this era all the promo we are getting will be one performance on GMA and a couple of Twitter Q&A

But I wanted at least 2 talk shows, 1 morning show, Saturday Night Live or something like that, magazines, radio interviews, and then appearances worldwide would only take about 2 weeks.

If she doesn't promote I think this album will sell around 300,000 copies in it's first week in the US, but if she does promote it could sell around 550,000-600,000.

I wish she would do some, but it's kinda normal now for Britney to do a few promo appearances in America and expect the album to sell well. It's worked for her so far so I can't see that routine changing soon. She has spoken to Ryan Seacrest on the day of HIAM's premiere but I think it was pre-recorded :/
Most likely yep, I'd love to see her go on one of the late night talk shows in America, because let's face it she's not going to promote in the UK, but her confidence has been knocked badly in recent years so I could see why she wouldn't. It would be great to see her perform on American Idol but I doubt she'd do it because the press would slate her for miming.

Yeah promo would get Femme Fatale better sales but Britney's one of those people who can sell on name alone, she'll still get another #1 album regardless of promotion.

I see what you mean, I do agree that the album will go #1 regardless however, I think Britney really needs to win her credibility back.

A lot of people now view her as a has-been or a joke, which is awful because she's not. :( She needs to do killer performances, sing live, promote, and talk to her fans. She said on Twitter that their would be promotion announcement in the next few days, and that was over 2 weeks ago. I don't get why she can't just do ONE interview, I just don't get it. I realize that there is a lot of damage control going on in Team Britney, and they are trying to not let journalists ask her about her breakdown because they want the public to forget about it. That worked in the Circus era, but I think that it could harm her popularity in this era. She needs to answer questions about those years, it will make her seem more human to the general public.

Yeah doing a lot of promo would do her the world of good.

She just announced this btw

She sounds like she's got a cold but at least it's something.

I've noticed that too, a lot of her hardcore fans are going off her because of the lack of promo, but Britney hasn't done proper promo in years, I can't believe people honestly expected this era to be any different but I do think it is a shame and it would be nice if she did. Yeah one sit down interview with someone like Barbra Walters who I know does one off shows where she sits down with a celebrity and asks them about their life, America's answer to Piers Morgan's Life Stories but I don't think she would do it. Even if she wanted to, I doubt her management would allow her after her breakdown which she's never openly spoken about. It's too much of a risk. I do agree though that it would make her seem more human and it could get her a lot of new fans but I don't see it happening anytime soon sadly.

Still, at least we have the GMA appearance to look forward to. If that's her only promo for Femme Fatale it's a real shame but at least it's not no promotion at all like the infamous Blackout era.

Smithy 25-02-2011 02:05 PM

She sounds like a man o.0

-Brit listens to the BEP, and Xtina's "WooHoo" (song featuring Nicki Minaj from Bionic)

-She enjoys spending time at home and in the kitchen

-She enjoys cooking for her boys

-The breakdown has taught her to remain true to herself

-She believes HIAM is the most innovative and edgy track she has recorded

She also said that she has been away for a while but now "the bitch is back"

Callum 01-03-2011 12:36 PM
