The what you are listening to right now thread (part 49)
I recently plumped for Apple to stream music .. I’ve put it off as everything is so expensive.
Luckily someone told me that Apple Voice is only £4.99 a month and it’s bloody marvellous. !
Now because it’s only controllable by voice I’ve been requesting the only songs I can remember … which for some reason are back in the seventies and eighties :)
Anyway it’s triggered a retro phase so I’ve been playing CDs by The Beatles , Bryan Adams , Stranglers , YES , Pink Floyd , INXS ,
Genesis , ZZ Top , BTO , Michael McDonald , The Doobie Brothers , The Chi-Lites and so on
Going back to this Apple Voice thing .. I ask it to play a song … say Harvest For The World then if I don’t say anything at the end it plays songs of a similar ilk which is fabulous !
.
Apple Voice explanation:
Depending on the listener's preferences, Apple Music offers four different plans, which include the Voice plan and Individual plan. The Apple Music Voice plan costs $4.99 per month while the Individual plan costs $10.99 per month. Both plans allow listeners to request tracks, albums, playlists or stations by asking Siri or using Type to Siri. Both plans are available on Apple devices and listeners can enjoy original shows, concerts, exclusives, and live and on‑demand radio stations hosted by artists without being interrupted by ads. The big difference here is that the Voice plan can only be activated through Siri.
