Yes fantastic episode, great acting. EastEnders has been pretty dull lately and it's good to have a nice explosive episode.

yes, Christian, Syed and Amira all acted extremely well. :)

Amazing Episode :D

Just watched it and the reveal episode, Its sad that was Diedrick Santers last EE Reveal and possibly last storyline climax :(

It was acted very well and actually felt as if it was on for an hour :)

I loved how Tamwar said he thought his brother was brave, what a legend.
I know Syed and Christian do get back together at some point though but on the EE Reveal thing at the end it showed a quick clip in Black & White of Christian beind held back by two men and Amira's Dad beating him up :(

I hate Amira's Dad.

Shame Amira has left though I use to hate her but now I sort of like her, Im going to miss her relationship with Christian :(

Syed is still in the show tho, he is writen in for a couple more weeks at least.. This airs on the 13th of may.. it's not a big spoiler but i proves syed is still in the show

I can see Masood and Zainab having lot's of marriage problems after all this. It will take Mas a long time to trust Zainab again, whether he will or not I don't know.

I just hope Zainab doesnt go back to her angry, annoying, stressed, period women self again.

I love it when shes so happy and cheerful and hilarious.. I doubt well see that again though unless shes really paranoid about what people think and starts looking out windows LOL Thats always LOL worthy.

LOL I loved it when she used to look out the window at Tiffany on her wall and she went mad at her. I wonder if we'll ever see Christian and Syed move in together in the future. Wouldn't surpise me if Syed went away for a bit to get away from everything and came back with a new man. He is a very selfish character.

Kept nodding off during tonights as I'm knackered but think I got most of it. Unless I dreamt the episode :joker: I'll check it out at 10pm if theres nothing else on

She added: "I'll miss Stacey and everyone in Albert Square very much but the time has come to try something different."

New executive producer Kirkwood commented: "We'll be very sad to see Lacey Turner leave the show. Lacey is one of the best young actresses on TV at the moment and the fact that she's won 28 awards in the last five years is testament to this.
"It's only right that someone as talented and versatile as Lacey should pursue new challenges and we wish her the very best of luck."

He continued: "In the meantime, viewers can look forward to a typically dramatic Slater family exit when she leaves and the door will be left open for Stacey Branning to return to Albert Square in the future."

Meanwhile, Wright (above left) said of her departure: "It's been an honour to play Jean especially as the public response to her has always been so supportive. It's been a real privilege to be able to heighten awareness of bipolar disorder.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed working with my onscreen Slater family, in particular working with Lacey and developing such a great rapport over the years."

Kirkwood added: "Gillian has brought real heart and pathos to the role of Jean Slater, a complex and fragile character who has really been taken into the public's affection."

Earlier this month, it was announced that head of the Slater clan, Charlie - Derek Martin - is to leave along with five others.

Turner first appeared in the Albert Square soap in November 2004 and has been a regular ever since, while her screen mother Wright made her brief debut the following month. She reappeared a year later for another short stint, before joining full-time from November 2006.

So many exits this year. Peggy, Charlie, Chelsea, Minty, Liz, Adam, Libby, Danny, Stacey and Jean all leaving. That's loads. :sad:

omfg. GUTTED. Jean was such a nice addition to the show and obviously Stacey was epic. Still, the day Stacey inevitably returns is gonna make for amazing TV.

Will only be Mo and Kat in Slater family - hopefully Mo will get given bigger storylines though.

Have to say though, I bet poor Lacey Turner needs a break from Stacey. It's one emotive character to play. I bet she's drained!
