Health and Safety expert Mario and his 14m fans and equal amount of jobs p*ss allover Marcus
|
i find him very very entertaining..i couldnt even begin to explain why..its wanting to watch a crash as you drive past ....you know you shouldnt but you want to see it.
The one thing with out doubt is that hes an emotional guy and this shiv/nor thing will hurt him soooooo much |

I'm not being funny, but he learned at a traditional Karate school. One move out of place and they whacked you with a Kendo stick...it's the only way to learn. |
From time to time I question whether or not Marcus is aware he is a 'David Brent' or not.
I think Mario and Lisa did know they were doing this sort of thing, but, Just when I suppose Marcus simply must be playing into this, full well knowing he is playing into himself in a character... ..the next minute, I am even a bit worried... no, he actually is serious and is not aware of anything otherwise. Yikes! |
Dont fancy dinner at his place cat biscuits washed down by puddle water

Mario took himself incredibly seriously, he was not joking at all imo. He really did believe his own hype. That fella was a real prat. Marcus is much the same, though somehow funnier with it. The fact that he has convinced himself of his own "awesomeness" is what makes him riveting. Mario was totally unlikeable, for some reason Marcus isn't. |
Look the bottom line is that no matter how creepy or pervy he is, he is great tv. You have to leave in Noirin, Marcus & Siavash, otherwise the whole thing will go down the tubes!! It's really just starting to get exciting!!!

It's so hard to know for sure re Marcus. I've watched him closely and a few times when he's said something ridic he's almost laughed. It's like he's saying mad **** to see how other folk respond. Seeing what he can get away with. An Ali G job. Like he's ripping the pish out of them. I mind he was talking to bea about hygiene and he told her and a few others he drank puddle water. It was a dead pan delivery but his face nearly cracked into what coulda been a laugh. who knows. bea and the rest swallowed it though. the man is an ENIGMA. |
A little misunderstanding here over what constitutes an "Alpha" in a primate social group. Marcus is not in fact an "Alpha Male" - though he tries very hard to be. The person who behaves in a true Alpha fashion is actually Mr Lisa, She does little, just sits in her throne (no-one else takes her "centre seat" at the Bus Stop) while her troupe fuss around her, coming and going, delivering up gossip and ciggies, and she only stirs herself for the task of roaring out defence and defiance when required. Marcus on the other hand, constantly needs to chivvy and coax and brainwash his troupe into keeping online; he WANTS to be Alpha, but he is in fact more suited to a "Beta" role of enforcer. Significantly, the BB House's "Alpha" female will not partner the wannabe Alpha Male, and is sniffing around both Tom & Siavash in hopes of finding a better candidate. As with most BB shows, there is simply no-one there with the characteristics of a true Alpha. For anyone who has a real interest in such thing, you should check out Jane Goodall's primate studies in Gombe, particularly with reference to the power struggle between "Freud" & "Frodo" (Marcus is "Frodo") Useless but interesting titbit: Frodo the chimpanzee is famous for murdering a human. Quote : "Add to that his 1993 Golds Gym 'body builder' gear exposing his pumped biceps" "Golds Gym 'body builder' gear"? I just thought it was called a "Wife-Beater Vest"... Oh, and Marcus doesn't chew, apparently... just rips off lumps and swallows them whole like a crocodile, no doubt! |

nah, your way-off re lisa as alpha anything, she challanged Marcus ages ago and was chewed up and spat out. what you've interprted as her throne is actually her hiding place, her banishment from the Kingdom of Marcus if you like. you need to get back to your books mate cos looks like you aint learned much from them. |

It's a free country, you are of course at liberty to disagree with everything I've said. I would point out however, that my observations are based on an understanding of the subject matter, whilst your riposte does nothing to advance your own viewpoint - in fact is is little more than semi-literate (and that's being somewhat generous) abuse. It's hardly surprising you are a Marcus fan - Troglodytes will stick together! I understand that there are people like yourself who have an irrational fear of anything that smacks of erudition, but I can assure you it's not catching; you seem to have a natural immunity, so you have nothing to worry about... |
