Actually Kissy we can,
I live close to the border ( Northern Ireland) so could if I wanted to ,haven't yet this year.
alot of people from the republic travel north of the border to do their weekly shopping as the prices are much cheaper.

Noel 28-07-2009 06:24 PM

What a silly thread. Do politics have to come into everything these days?

chris1232 28-07-2009 06:25 PM

Ahaha!

Very good competition.

Do you really think people are going to drive across the boarder to vote in an eviction? Some how - I can't see it.

Hedgie 28-07-2009 06:27 PM

Hitler was Austrian, hardly a good representation of his country was he.
Kudos for the spin though, it may just work

offelia 28-07-2009 06:28 PM

NOIRIN OUTTTTTTTT

muchadoaboutnothing 28-07-2009 06:29 PM

What do you think this is? The Xfactor. This is exactly what Simon Cowell does when it comes to final two on the Xfactor if they are from different countries. I hate it when people make it into a national thing. So, in effect, this thread stinks.

Saph 28-07-2009 06:29 PM

someone always has to make it about race or countries :bored:

LOOOL funnyest thing i've read all day :blush2: lol drive across the border to vote :joker:

Prole 28-07-2009 06:35 PM

I want Noirin out. But the fact that she's Irish is incidental. It's not a country v country thing.

Sunny_Tsu 28-07-2009 06:39 PM

I'd say it's a fair bet most of the Irish people on here want her out.

Regardless, only the shallowest of mindsets use nationality/patriotism.

Novo 28-07-2009 06:39 PM

Silly me..

Please read my post again,I never said people would be driving across the border to vote,
i said alot of people drive across the border to do their weekly shopping and as pay phones located in most supermarkets it is possible for Irish people to vote.I was merely stating that it's not completely accurate to say the Irish can't vote..they could if they chose to.

Let me clear up "crossing the border"
It's not like the Mexican /US border ,we are not climbing over barbwire fences to get in..

I am in the North 3-4 times a week, when I go play the British lotto I am home within 20mins.

My sister lives in Dublin, she works in Belfast 1 week of the month, she drives to & from Belfast each of those days as it's only an 1hr1/2 drive.

I was not suggesting a mass exodus from the Republic this week to save Noirin,as already pointed out she is not to popular here(although against Marcus it's pretty close).

Again was pointing out that it is possible for Irish people to vote

But at least you have the common sense to judge by personality.
Ridiculous that someone should suggest it be a vote according to nationality. It's about the people themselves.

saraholeila 29-07-2009 09:36 AM

I'd want Marcus to go cos he's a total freak, in a scary way, but I want Noirin to go so that Siavash can be back to his old self and WIN!

I'm Irish btw. Noirin's not that bad - her beauty is making guys blame her for liking them. I feel sorry for her - after what Sree's done, everyone's goin to blame her and she'll be very hated. It's not her fault every prat likes her.

jjj2 29-07-2009 09:36 AM

IRELAND CANNOT VOTE SO WE ARE NOT IN THE GAME . THIS IS ENGLAND AGAINST ENGLAND
