Isnt it...there would be holy hell on if there was a car insurance just for blokes.

But its the same the otherway round, there are working mens clubs, that dont allow women in, but if there was a club that ONLY allowed women in, there would be hell on there also.

The reason they have so many female only car insurance companies is because women drivers need it most

LOL

You want another sexist advertisement? Try the new one for those Dell laptops on sale at PC World. You can buy them in different colours so of course the first thought that any woman has is buying a laptop to match the colour of her shoes or jacket. Who cares about the processor or screen quality when you can get it in a cute pink. Absolutely awful advert. I was sitting there watching it with my wife and we could hardly believe it.

LOL
In fact, on average women cause fewer accidents and require fewer payouts from insurance companies. That is precisely why there are car insurance deals for women only.

Cybele 03-08-2009 11:21 AM

I've been giving her the benefit of the doubt, but when she was saying how the moon landing was a hoax etc, I went right off of her.

Shasown 03-08-2009 12:18 PM

Must admit I havent thought a lot of Bea since she first went into the house, i still think she is a BB plant.

Last night though was comical, apparently Men didnt land on the moon, but the best one was not so much a rant about the playstation generation being lazy, increases in obesity levels in children through lack of exercise or anything that showed even a hint of a logical thought out arguement, oh no not for our Bea.

Last night's conversation included the fact that Bea thought the internet , TV DVD's etc were all part of the worlds governments plans to get the masses to accept their rule.

For such a supposed intelligent woman she really is a furking ******.

Oh and just a thought, if Bea and the Dark Horse do get to play hide Mr Wobbly, would it be classed as Beastiality?

AhmedFan2004 03-08-2009 01:51 PM

Excellent convo last night, very deep and intellectual, good points made on both sides.

She still made intelligent points and some brilliant links; like linking how people cut off from a group environment they're dependant on, are then vulnerable to being isolated and influenced by technology. Just like lonely, bored, confused people in a social setting can easily be taken under someone's wing. She also highlighted the difference between a follower who faces these issues and a free-thinking indvidual who is less susceptible to screens/leadership/commands.

I agree Marcus was amazing in this conversation and made the best points, and saw things more impartially than Bea. It didn't seem to 'hit her' that a lot of people isolated away on screens now simply have an avenue to offload their personalities, whereas before few even knew about them. And also that often, people feel forced and pushed into this corner ... not everyone is in the cool crowd and 'invited out', like Bea idealises.
