Here we have an OP confused about what is going on with Freddy.
Half the people are confused. Here is what happened: From the beginning nearly everyone agreed he was an annoying rich twit. Here is the tricky part: A LOT of people caught onto the idea of deliberately keeping the annoying and bothersome, the weird and the wacky HM IN THE HOUSE. TO SPITE THE DULL ONES. By about the 3rd week of this 'Protest Vote' and deliberate way of keeping the MOST ANNOYING HM in - quite a few people got confused and started thinking that Freddy was very popular because so many people like him and they should cheer him and find things to like about him. They didn't seem to 'get' the original idea. They showed up a bit late and mistakenly believed Freddy was being kept in because everyone like him. No. Nothing fickle about it. I agreed with the concept from the beginning and voted 'for' Freddy for the original reason of having him annoy and antagonise the 'Models Block'. (at the time, Kris, Soph, Collie, Charlie). Okay, Once Kris went and especially after Karly left then Freddy had already done his job for us. Further more, since he sort of got 'in crowd' and got his haircut and Kris's clothes I saw him becoming less and less antagonist. Seriously.. someone tell me they get how this was working and what had happened with this Freddy thing? |
I want him to win only because he deserves it, do I like him? not really.
Freddie fans need to get Bea out asap. |

 |
I have changed my opinion of him. I still think he is basically a good person. But the song he did for Bea was the icing on the ice. It made me uncomfortably embarrassed...as does his mmmmmmmmm noises when he talsk about sexual things. I am sure this doesn't change the fact that he is basically a good person, but the fact that the sexual noises make me cringe, make me NOT want him as a winner.

I make lots of unusual noises and there are reasons for each and every one of them

he has a medical condition, he makes the noises to help process his thoughts. his friend ravi explained it. the post is on the threads somewhere. |
i don't understand why it's such a problem to change your opinion on hm??
you can't just blindly follow a hm and support them all the way. you need to judge them on their actions in the house and since most of the hm have changed since they went in, opinions will have changed. i loved marcus at the start, but can't stand him now. i loved bea, but look at her now!! |

its a bit long winded .
Freddie according to Ravi his best friend Just saw this on the fan site, www.freddiefisher.co.uk "Right I thought it was about time I wrote a little bit on my friend, Freddie :) Touching on what Freddie's dad said - http://newbe.at/mod/groups/topicpost...&group_guid=47 - I think I'd like to start with the dyslexia. Freddie's brain works so differently from everybody else's. This was touched on a bit on BBLB with the psychologist when we did a 'brain surgery'. The point I'd like to make is that the social input Freddie actually receives is significantly more stream-lined than what most of us take in. I think his perception and outlook is then made up by a bout of intensive thinking. Freddie has to extrapolate his social environment from much less input and use his logical thinking to make sense of the world around him. In this vein, he thinks his way through the Big Brother game. I believe this is what is really behind what some detractors label game-planning. Freddie has to rationalise the small bubble that he is stuck in. This also ties in to all the noises Freddie makes - the heavy breathing and sighs. These punctuate his thought process but are also a part of his coping mechanism and you can notice them becoming more profound when Freddie has more to think about or is anxious about something. Outside of the house, eg, Freddie enjoys having lots of hugs. The physical contact makes him happier emotionally. It is in this sense, I think, that Freddie asked Charlie for a hug and put his head on his chest. Anything more that was seen, I imagine, was a function of Freddie trying to gauge Charlie's comfort zone with him. Freddie was in effect trying to figure out how much of a friend Charlie could be to him... I think the same is true of his interaction with Bea, though I think he likes her more than she likes him. It's even beginning to look like she's not as nice a person as Freddie thought. What's going to be confusing for him is her continuing to cuddle him while calling him sleazy behind his back. From his perspective, he thinks they're getting on completely fine because they've got the physical comfort. It'll be a surprise to him when he notices her attempt to undermine him socially with the rest of the housemates. The situation now is quite different from the start of the series. Freddie has emerged as a credible commentator on the 'social dynamics' of the house. This is what interests him intellectually and I believe this is what makes his presence in the house so crucial. It is rather like having a reporter on the inside keen to analyse/rationalise proceedings. This is so useful for us because it allows us a taste of the house that you wouldn't be able to get in the one hour slot otherwise – given the lack of live feed. I met Kris recently for a spot of BBLB filming at Freddie's house and I discussed some of what I've said here with him. He saw what I meant and basically agreed with this. He also added that while he had clashed somewhat with Freddie in the house we did not as an audience get to see the odd one hour conversation where they chatted together quite happily. We did not, for example, see Freddie and Kris discussing Freddie's vision of establishing permaculture and boosting nutrition for children in Shropshire. As a couple of local boys, they agreed that something had to be done and Kris said he's looking forward to working with Freddie in the future and coming to his house for a party once the series is over." I'm not sure I agree with all of that, but I do think most of it's right... i did'nt put this up originally fair play to the op that did. |

It is not a 'medical condition' but simply a bad idea that has become a bad habit. Seriously he has to stop doing that. Its a habit. Smoking to 'stop and think' isn't a 'medical condition' either. Its a habit you develop. |
you have a bad habit.

Now you understand and should tolerate it. |

Now he has a hand in picking on people as much as he was picked upon in the first few weeks and people realise he is not the nice person he would have us believe. Personally i think he has shown us so many personalities in there no one nows his real one. I find him very fake and patronising. |
that includes u! LOL
