I can defend him!!
Lisa got what she deserved, she's been hiding since her crew left and now she got it!!
If you look at her face when she came in it was spoiling for a fight.
Freddie was talking when LISA started shouting into his face (did you forget that? hmm), calling him an asshole, THEN he started laughing.
Ok a bit out of order for following them through but in the early days they reduced him to tears and left him completely by himself.

Freddie was amazing, he was so calm and articulate while the other housemates resorted to laughing in his face and childish taunts.

I dont care if he wins. And to be honest i dont think he cares either, as long as he outlasts lisa.

I think he was funny as hell. She deserved it. Loved how he wound her up and then just laughed at her when she started ranting...made her look a right tit :joker:

That's the thing that makes me laugh the most about all this. Freddie is being accused of "bullying" and yet it was Lisa, as usual, ranting and raving and getting in people's faces.

LaRainbow 05-08-2009 10:05 PM

The reason Freddie is so well liked is because he is COMPLETELY himself in that house, and HAPPY and CONFIDENT in who he is. That's why he says 'I think the public will like me and keep me in over you' - because he can see that his behaviour in the house has been far better than hers - he has remained true to himself and been honest. More than you can say for 'who shall we hate this week?' Lisa.

I thought, although eccentric tonight to the point where I DIDN'T think he handled himself brilliantly, it was actually nice to see him standing up for himself and enjoying being proved right (by how annoyed Lisa was for being up for nomination.)

Can I also point out - watch the footage of them being told they're up for eviction. First reaction? David: "WOOOOOO!"
Then five minutes later when he sees Lisa and Rodrigo are unhappy, he changes his mind.

ricky2k9 05-08-2009 10:09 PM

I think Freddie was hilliaous tonight along with Marcus during the big argument. David could NOT answer the straight question!

Not what happened. You need to keep up, love.

moonballoon 05-08-2009 10:17 PM

He came across as very childish, but it was a relief to see him finally not being over-nice and reasonable to everyone.

That's what I am thinking.

Anyone that condones Halfwits manic and deliberate mocking and taunting - and thinks he came out of it looking good has a serious problem.

He has been revealed as the nasty little condescending toad that he is. I don't care who goes or who stays from now on - as long as HE doesn't win, I'll be satisfied.

Josy 05-08-2009 10:21 PM

I have been a Freddie fan from day 1 but tonight he pissed me right off, he acted like a total tit.

I blame Bea for the way Freddie is acting get that bitch out!

zotec 05-08-2009 10:28 PM

I dont think he did himself justice, much as I like him compared to the rest I think he got a bit hysterical and over the top. Much of what he said about Lisas gameplan backfiring because shes up for the first time is true and I think Rodrigo s reaction was also very telling. They didnt think how he felt when they put him up week after week

LaRainbow 05-08-2009 10:31 PM

If you say "I've always liked Freddie" but then in the next breath say "but after tonight I can't stand him" then I am less than inclined to believe your original statement. You don't just stop liking someone you've liked for nine weeks over one argument - if you do then you're being highly judgemental and not giving a fair chance.

Also, can we please stop jibing at each other, particularly the 'keep up, love' rubbish - if you can't get your opinions across without resorting to being condescending then it doesn't say much for your opinions.

rayheartbliss 05-08-2009 10:32 PM

absolutly dont like him

Umm who exactly is your post referring to??

You should quote the op so that others know who you mean.

But...but...Halfwit is condescending and you like him and his opinions....

You CAN stop liking someone if that someone turns mean, mocking and nasty and makes your skin crawl. It happened to me.

Yes it was Freddies fault it kicked of, did you not hear him in the kitchen SHOUTING LIsa, LIsa, game plan and she wasn't even in the kitchen but she probably heard him outside,

he's not allowed to say anything about the outside though. he could have said that bea attatched himself to freddie because she knew how much he was loved outside the house and would be loved for being his friend, but he would have been punished. he knows what her game is, but can't reveal it coz he'd be breaking the rules
