I have to agree. I'm not a fan of Maxwell but on tonight's (Sunday's) highlights show, he was trying to cheer Craig up when Craig was so upset, and when he and Craig were talking about Saskia at the end of the show, he had genuine tears in his eyes. I do believe that we will see a better side of Maxwell now that Saskia has gone. He seemed more aggressive before. Also, although I did think that he might be up for eviction this week, I actually think he might escape it now. (I feel that Craig will almost certainly be up, and either Makosi or Orlaith, as Kemal and Vanessa did not seem too impressed by their behaviour).

i have started to really like maxwell now.

im happy people are seeing the fun side of Max now..Saskia going was the best thing that could of happened to him, he's such a great guy who's very entertaining

This happens every year someone seems to be edited to win. Maxwell has had a lot of bad editing as well as good editing. On the whole now I think things are balanced out, at the moment.

But is being shown 24/7 a blessing?

We have seen a lot of the living room over the last few weeks.... but did it do Queen Saskia and Co any good. She has gone after all. By putting a single person or group on screen, be it on the live feed or the highlights you are making them the focus of the house and the public vote on eviction night which can have a negative effect in terms of the public vote.+

What interesting is that those who are in the background are doing rather well. A good example of this is Derek who is now placed in the odds to make the final week.

I really enjoyed seeing a glimpse of what Maxwell was like last night - he was so kind to Craig when he was upset about Ant. I did notice that for some reason though he doesnt not like Orlaigh at all - he kept saying to her where you going for your holidays so I can avoid it. I dontk now if he has been given orders by Saskia to be mean to her but he is!!!! :dazzler:

Maxwell is already much more likeable now that Sas is gone. I mean, I know they like each other and all, but Max is much more fun without her.

yes hes changed cos he has to adapt to the other housemates in order to have a chance of staying in the house! anthony was a drifter anyways and integrated himself with the rest of the group but now that his lover and best friend has left hes got nothin else to do but intergrate LoL :dance:

Sorry I think the bullying Maxwell we have seen recently is the real Maxwell - this is all to keep him in and I hope the others see through it. Lets see how long he can keep it up.

I'd never knock him or call him boring because he feels down - it was nice to see that he does have some genuine feelings - but I think he has been a bully, which is totally different to having a laugh.

I'm starting to think the same thing. I do believe he has genuine feelings for Saskia, but I think he does have an aggressive bullying side to him as well.

Maxwell is just tryning to fit in with everyone, now Saskia has gone he's got no-one who shares the same sense of humor as him really so he needs to mingle agin with everyone lol! I don't think that he is a bully at all, i think that he does get angry sometimes, but who wouldn't being stuffed up in a house with some of those people 24/7? :conf::shocked:

he isnt a bully...ffs, thats the tactics people use against jason last year, and that got him hated. i hate the way kemal brands people bully's... he called roberto a bully, roberto goes.. im sure if he lies and calls maxwella bully one more time he will fool the public and turn them against maxwell.

Yup yup!! I felt sorry for Jason last year being called a bully by Nadia and Co and it is happening again. If anything they are the bullie's , may not be physical but its still being purposefully nasty to someone, whether its to their face or behind their backs.
