Maybe I was watching a completely different conversation then? I saw Charlie in the kitchen calling Freddie out on being the biggest gameplayer, accusing other of having a game plan...Lisa manipulating others. Charlie quoted Freddie on him bitching about Lisa, trying to manipulate his point of view on her....There was nothing Freddie could really say to that, other than to try and patronise him, and detracting from the situation by saying he hadn't been scheming, he was and that being intelligent meant he was able to make observations.
I thought it was hilarious that Charlie called him up on that too, the usual intellctual superiority bravado failed when Charlie said he was also more than capable of making observations - albeit on this occassion he was spot on too.
