Two of the HMs, Dana and Ragnar, recently competed in Fear Factor Finland.
|
This week has been an endless party. Almost anyway. Nothing interesting though, a couple of arguments.
Some interesting info leaked out yesterday. As I told earlier, the HMs will be divided to rich and poor. More precisely the house will be divided to Paradise and Slum. The HMs living in slum won't be eligible to nominate by default. Every monday, tuesday and wednesday they'll compete for the right to nominate. They won't have any warm water and will have only a grill for cooking. They are not allowed to receive anything from the HMs living in Paradise. While the poor are competing for their right to nominate, the HMs in the Paradise are living large. They'll have warm water in the shower, jacuzzi and sauna at their disposal 24/7. They can make requests to Big Brother of the food they'd like to have. Naturally they are also eligible to vote anyone of the other HMs except themselves. The HoH will also live in Paradise. The HMs (all of them) will compete for the title every thursday. If one of the poor wins the title, he or she will be transferred to Paradise. They also have to choose one HM, who will have to move to the Slum immediately. Of course the HoH will have immunity in the nominations, which will take place on thursdays right after the HoH-competition. I'll write short descriptions of the HMs as soon as I know who goes where. Anyhow...seems like it will be the most interesting season for us yet. :thumbs2: |

Lotta also is a hairdresser, like Aleisha. |
There were no nominations last week. However, Big Brother let the HMs believe they were all up for eviction. That wasn't the case, as there was no eviction either.
Today two of the HMs got a penalty for discussing about the production. Both Esas were the punished HMs, but they were the only two HMs who didn't actually feel the penalty. All of the rest of the HMs had to strip down to their underwear and stand in a small rectangular area in the yard until Big Brother says otherwise. Meanwhile Esas had a small feast in front of them. Tonight the HMs got yet another party with mild alcohol-drinks. This is just an attempt to make the drop even more difficult for those HMs who will be sent to the Slum (or Hell) this week. I'm guessing this will happen either on Wednesday or Thursday. Only two of the HMs don't drink alcohol: Terttu is really religious and Esa A just have chosen not to drink. A little more about the HMs. These are not from their introductions, but rather my impressions of them after the 1st week: Aso - a bit homophobic, he has emphasised numerous of times how heterosexual he is. Originally from Iran. Esa A - a bit boring, he's the president of a local branch of Mensa Esa J - not much to say about this guy...I still haven't really got much out of him Nino - gay guy, kinda bubbly. Insecure of himself. Has a crush on Esa J, who didn't really know how to deal with it at first. Now Nino has switched to Sampo. Sampo - one of the two bisexual guys in the house. He's kinda nice and funny. He has brought some hats that are kinda like teddies at the same time. There's a teddybear, shark, mouse and chicken. Sami - I like this guy. He's a karaoke-host and also sings in a band. He doesn't look down to anyone. Ragnar - the other bisexual guy in the house. He really can't take alcohol well...in one of the parties last week he passed out to the toilet. A good dancer though. He's into styling, and have been playing a make-up artist in the house. Originally from Estonia. Dana - a wanna-be actress, studied in France for two years and spent also some time in Hollywood. Has been modeling. In the house she's been relatively invisible. Or at least quiet. For the past few days she's come out a bit though. Also a good dancer. She's jealous of Kätlin for getting more attention than her. Born in Russia, I think it was her mother who originated from Kazakshtan. She speaks 5 languages more or less fluently; Finnish, Russian, Kazan, English and French. Kätlin - my favourite, and not only because of her looks. Really bubbly outgoing personality, who is always offering her help in any chore. Of course this might also be, because she has openly confessed that she loves the attention. The best dancer in the house IMO. Of course, I might be biased. :blush2: Tuija - in one word: neurotic. I can't even remember all of the flaws she has around her body that she's told about. Oh yeah...in her own words she once had a fever of 46 centigrade. Before she went in the house she said she just wants the publicity, whether it's good or bad. I'm leaning towards really bad at this point. However...with her neurotical outbursts she's kinda entertaining. Minna - I'm not quite sure of her. The only thing that has really stuck to my mind is, that whenever she gets drunk, she's really pushy with the guys. I think she would take any of the girls too, if the guys don't want her. Jelena - A real bitch, but then again she said she would be. Whenever there's a fight or rumours going around, she's had some part of starting it. Mostly. Lotta - our little hairdresser really is an airhead. She doesn't seem to understand anything. Also her diet pretty much consists of pasta (with nothing else than ketchup), pizza (with only tomato sauce and cheese on it), noodles, some fruits, chicken and sometimes eggs. She's just really picky, she says yuck to food she hasn't even tasted yet. Terttu - she's talking almost constantly. Even though she's really religious, she seems to be very tolerant of the parties. For the past few days she's been practically trying to shove her religious thought down everyone else's throats. |
The HMs are now recycling cables on the task-area. They will be outside the whole night. Meanwhile changes are made to the house for the divide. The HMs will be divided in the morning.
They have slept very little, most of them. And this task isn't exactly helping. Half of the HMs can't even have a shower tomorrow on...only cold water to wash themselves with. I think it's safe to say, that the game is now on. |
The HMs have been now living in Slum and Paradise for about 10 hours. Nothing really dramatic yet, Terttu went to the toilet in the Paradise though because she couldn't understand they are not allowed to the Paradise. Unless Big Brother instructs them otherwise.
The divide is kinda boring, the house didn't exactly change that much. Slum just got appropriate wallpaints including tags and a graffiti outside. Paradise didn't change at all. They just divided the house with a rope. A few pictures, that will give a general idea of the new look: http://kuvaboxi.fi/mediaobjects/orig...549773orig.jpg http://kuvaboxi.fi/mediaobjects/orig...549782orig.jpg http://kuvaboxi.fi/mediaobjects/orig...549771orig.jpg The yard. The box in the picture in the middle is the slum-toilet. http://kuvaboxi.fi/mediaobjects/orig...558751orig.jpg The slumdogs sitting on a bench in their "living area". http://kuvaboxi.fi/mediaobjects/orig...559422orig.jpg The BR in the slum. A room previously unused this season, last season it was the gym most of the time. HMs living in Paradise: Dana, Jelena, Kätlin, Minna, Esa J, Aso and Sami. And of course the other half of them are in the slum. Dana won the HoH competition, thus making her the first HoH in the history of BBF. There's a pool party going on in Paradise, though it's not much of a party...not yet anyway. I guess most of the HMs in Paradise are just as shocked of this twist as those in the slum. Oh yeah...the first nominations were held today too. Only those in Paradise were eligible to nominate. Up for eviction: Aso, Esa A and Terttu. |
Terttu was evicted. No percentages were shown.
Dana hasn't really had any responsibilities or power as HoH. This will change next week. Whoever wins the competition next week, will have the power to choose any HM to move from Paradise to Slum and vice versa. And as many as he or she choose to. |
Is there anyway I can watch this online???

Sorry...haven't been around for a few days. There are no free feeds available. I guess you could try torrents. Earlier this week there was a controversy. Tuesday night at around 1.30 am Esa J and Minna were given the common bedroom for their own use for 30 minutes. Naturally this led them to have sex. At one point the covers were off and their genitals shown for abou 10 seconds. Turning the feed x-rated. This is against the channel's policy, and as a result the feed-director responsible for showing too much on a close angle was fired by the production. The slum HMs won the right to nominate. The following 4 HMs are up for eviction this week: Jelena, Kätlin, Ragnar and Tuija. Aso was immune as the HoH. Today Aso had the opportunity to re-organize slum and paradise. However...after asking Dana, if she would like to be in slum with Ragnar Dana draw her own conclusions. She then repeatedly said she knew what Aso would have to do. Big Brother inteprated this so, that Aso had broken the rules. As a penalty Aso's position as the HoH was removed, and all of the Paradise HMs were moved to Slum and vice versa. In a few hours a new HM will enter the house. She's 20 years of age and a sleepwalker. This much have been revealed thus far. |
Meet the new addition to the house:
http://www.bigbrother.fi/julkaisut/m...vat/793814.jpg Justiina, 20, single First impression: she seems really nice and someone who can bring life to the house. She mentions music and tattoos as her hobbies in her profile. |
Jelena was evicted. It wasn't really a big surprise...it was pretty much expected.
Dana took Jelena's eviction the hardest...they've been so tight, and now Dana has to make a new gameplan. |
This week's nomination task is American Football. The slummates had 3 training sessions yesterday, 2 hours each. Today in the morning they had another one, and sometime today they have a game. I have no idea of their opponent.
On Sunday new HMs will enter, I don't know how many. Also 2 HMs will be evicted. I'm still cautiosly waiting to see, if this split will work. It's not really working now, it's executed really poorly. Paradise is really just like the normal house. I'm still waiting for the luxuries they were promised...the only one of the mentioned luxuries thus far is warm water in the shower 24/7. |
that house looks boring.
|
The house is boring, and so is the whole season at the moment. The highlights really are the nomination tasks and the HoH tasks.
Though every now and then the split is starting to get to some of the HM's nerves. This has created a couple of small conflicts between the HMs. Anyway...to this week's business: Kätlin, Lotta, Nino and Tuija are up for double-eviction. Sampo was immune in the nominations as the new HoH. This eviction will be tough, all of those 4 HMs have their own entertainment values. There are a few HMs more boring than any of those who are up for eviction. Also, as the HoH Sampo had to re-arrange the HMs in slum and paradise. He sent Esa A, Justiina and Tuija to the slum. And brought Dana, Kätlin and Sami to the paradise. |
How long will this big brother last?
|
[rquote=2590646&tid=139470&author=thebeast]How long will this big brother last?[/rquote]
97 days in total, 71 days to go including today. The final is on November 29th. |
Weekly update. A bit late.
Lotta and Tuija were evicted on Sunday. Lotta was really disappointed. After she was evicted, she told in the studio that she wanted Tuija to go instead. When she heard Tuija was the other HM to be evicted, she said "Yes!". Two new HMs entered on Sunday: http://www.bigbrother.fi/julkaisut/m...vat/799822.jpg Marko, 41 Marko is the 4th gay to enter the house. He's in a relationship. Head of a restaurant. http://www.bigbrother.fi/julkaisut/m...vat/799035.jpg Toni, 24 Single. Has a degree in cooking. Lists his roommate as his pet. The new HMs are in Paradise. There are now 9 guys and 4 gals in the house. And as said, 4 of the guys are gay. Nothing against gays, this just might be a bit over the top. That is, if the production team intended to have gays in the house just because of their sexual orientation. Quite honestly, only 1 of those gays has been entertaining so far. Finally, slummates succeeded in their nomination-task. Again. There has been some controversy about the permits for the BB-house. Nothing serious though, I think. |
Damn, I'm slow this year.
Anyhow...a quick recap: Kätlin and Ragnar were up for eviction last week, with Ragnar evicted. Sampo won the HoH-task again and had to re-orginize the HMs so, that there would be 4 in slum. He guided Kätlin and Sami from paradise to slum, and Aso, Esa J & Minna to paradise. So the new slum was Justiina, Kätlin, Esa A and Sami. However, as a penalty for constantly breaking the rules Sampo yesterday got instructions from BB to swap Esa J to the slum and Esa A to the paradise. Today Nino was ejected. He broke too many rules. |
6 HMs up for eviction this week:
Esa A, Esa J, Marko, Toni, Sampo and Kätlin. Kätlin has been nominated almost every week. There's been 6 nominations, this is the 5th time Kätlin is up for eviction. And there's not a chance she would be evicted this week either. The new guys (Marko and Toni) have hardly any supporters, and I think even the two Esas and Sampo are no match to her in the public votes Justiina won the HoH task today, so she was immune. Also, as a slummate she won her place in paradise. She moved Esa A. to the slum to take her place. |
BB Extra will receive international guests next Tuesday. Nick Holmes and Greg Mackintosh of Paradise Lost are scheduled to visit the programme.
|
Esa J was evicted. Kätlin received the most plus-votes, though she also was less than 2% plus.
The new nomination-task for the slummates started this afternoon. This week they have to mislead the HMs in paradise. The HMs in paradise think, that the task has something to do with woodmanship. One of the prerequisites of the task was, that the slummates wouldn't have anything to eat or drink. They would have plates that they could use to collect rainwater. In reality the slummates have plenty of food to eat and drink. One of the terms for the task to be successful is, that they'll have to somehow trick at least one of the HMs in paradise to give them anything to drink or eat, or give them any other commodity. While still keeping the real task a secret from the HMs in paradise. |
