Im not one of those people, I liked both of them but was a bigger Freddie fan and now im actually supporting Siavash and Marcus for the win.

I think most Freddie fans are quite happy that he went over a friend of his and someone he was close to rather than Bea/Charlie/David/Lisa= People Freddie doesnt get on with.

I didnt want to keep him in just to see the reactions of the others, i genuinley liked him as a person.
He was booed

No it doesn't, it just proves the other people were disliked much more

He got booed by the chavs outside the gate. They were drowned out by the cheers he got from the crowd.

J-Rock 15-08-2009 03:21 PM

Another terrible, biased post (MINORITY VIEW PROVED BY MANY OTHER POSTS) - just to get a reaction.

Well, here's mine

Arrogant? I didn't see that. And everyone has bad moments if he was that bad anyway. Cut him some slack.
Stupid? He was the smartest in there... =/
Annoying? No, I'd call that the bullying he got =/

Yes they'de probably come hot foot from the Jeremy Kyle show to get their fizzogs on TV again,:yuk:

ManicWolf 15-08-2009 03:30 PM

Um, if that was the case Freddie wouldn't have survived the first 7 evictions. He only lost out to Marcus by a few percentages, which certainly wouldn't be the case if he was a "non-entity" in real life.

Vicky. 15-08-2009 03:33 PM

Why cant people get over the fact that Freddie was liked?

Not as much now as at the beginning, following his cocky outbursts, but I doubt only the people on the forum could have made up 46% of the total vote.

If he was hated, then the percentage would have been a LOT higher.

Most Freddie fans have turned their support to Marcus anyway, it does not seem as bad if he is evicted over one of his friends, it would be awful for him to be evicted over the likes of Bea or Lisa(which would never have happened)

Marcus FTW :dance2::dance2::dance2:

The fact it has been 'proved' in posts just proves my point about being loved online

Firstly, he didn't survive 7 evictions. Its nothing to be proud of with some of the people up against anyway. I'm not denying he had his fans in the earlier weeks though, but not lately.

The impression I get is that Marcus isn't as liked as people like to think (booing crowds/chants for him out, crap odds until the last week or so, no doubt helped by Freddie's departure as you say) which is possibly why the percentage was quite low.

J-Rock 15-08-2009 03:56 PM

But Tom you aint proved nothing, especially NOT proved that he got booed, which you keep saying as if someone will just start believing you (maybe around 4-5 FMs) because he didn't in the main - he was received with real warmth from alot of people last night.

Because people generally like Freddie and are endeared by him - you could see it in all the interview shows. He made some big mistakes in the house and eventually they caught up with him. This does not mean he was hated on the outside.

Let's put it this way - from what I can see, he's loving it being out now, enjoyed the reaction he got last night and will sit back with the rest of us and watch the HMs implode and get ravished when they leave (apart from perhaps Vash and Sophie -- Marcus will have his fans too).

Now...disprove that

Hang on just because we're fans of H/M's does'nt mean we're going to give our money to ch4

A lot of people are fans of football players do they pop their hard earned cash through their letter boxes NO!

I'm a Marcus fan to but ch4 ain't getting my dosh for him either

The only time i'm going to waist my cash again is if they bring back live feed and give some money to charity:thumbs:

Face it like I have been saying for weeks only a few people out of the millions who watch BB Use forums and most people hated freddie offline!

If your all as "hardcore" as you think you are then why didnt you all vote as much as me and other Marcus fans did?

Well when the doors opened, it was pretty clear he got booed. Then it was cheers. If he was loved so much why wasn't it all cheers?

They like him that much they voted him out over an outsider

I agree with that, not once have I said he got a bad reaction, but it isn't as good as a lot of people are making out or a lot of people think. And the fans that Marcus has are VERY loyal ...

The BOOS were coming from the Chavs in the crowd!

Face it

J-Rock 15-08-2009 05:20 PM

Tom - they voted him out because he made some fatal mistakes as I have already conceded. Thet DIDN'T vote him out 6 times - explain that!

Doesn't mean to say he was 'hated'. I truly believe that most people do not hate freddie. Some may hate him, some misunderstand him, but most I would say would warm to him generally.

There won't be anyone throwing any fruit at him...

Let's agree to disagree, as you cearly dislike the guy, and leave at that

Josy 15-08-2009 05:23 PM

Freddies gone, there's no point talking about him.:bored:

Jords 15-08-2009 05:25 PM

BS, Halfwit was a well liked housemate, he was just unfortuante, but he has survived 7 times! Also his reception was good, more cheers than boos, but boos are more distinct.

peacemaker 15-08-2009 05:30 PM

does anyone think freddie was more liked, mainly the female fans, when he had hair rather than with his shaved head, it sounds shallow but i think bea would have fancied freddie if he had longer hair, she liked him before she entered the house what do you all think?

MaratSafinForever 15-08-2009 05:30 PM

Only liked online and survived more than 5 evictions haha.

sophiee1383 15-08-2009 05:47 PM

He Went By 53% Of The Votes
Close Very.

Because I have been to a couple of evictions and another crowd is outside the gates. Its rent a mob and people they kicked out of the audiance for bringing stuff to throw, being drunk etc. In other series we have clearly heard people shouting from outside the compound being audiable to people in the huse garden.

On camera cam you could clearly hear that these boos were coming from behind him. He was a lot closer to the outside fence than the real audiance.

Fred got a good reception from the crowd. Fact.

Mystic Mock 17-06-2017 03:04 AM

I wish we had Housemates like the Three Amigos in this series.

Littlegreen 31-07-2017 03:44 PM

I adored Halfwit and his eviction is one of the clearest memories I have, mainly (and this is random) because my cat died the night previous to it and I was in a mist of grief.

Ha, what a happy post. :joker:
