Marcus might be in the worst possible situation getting the ultimate 'punked' treatment and let me explain:

He has been 'carried' over by Big Brother interference several times now. In a way that is a 'shaming' in itself.
Oddly enough, he became something like a 'place holder' for whoever else is more important to evict.
He was saved by Lisa and Bea (and editing) which is almost like a shame in 'victory'.
The longer he stays the more he exposes himself as a hypocrite and a lamer.
Worse than all of those, Marcus is heading for the worst possible place. The HM that has to stay in there for the entire damn season only to be unceremoniously eliminated before the winner.
Last years example might be Kat. Has to do the full 'time in prison', gets over-exposed and even 'passe' and there eviction doesn't even get remembered for much,
they don't get their 'week' in the Sun,
they are immediately forgotten because we have the big winners coming up next.

Marcus is just about this seasons 'Kat'.
It might be the worst place.
You are actually better to go out in week one.
