I honestly have no single clue about your thread or have ever read it before or have even heard of it so merge it with mine if you would like to:thumbs:

[rquote=2554896&tid=147150&author=atieah2009][rquote=2554416&tid=147150&author=setanta]Mike Tyson is way too much of liability to have in that house, even if he wanted to be involved.[/rquote]

Yes but i think he has changed![/rquote]

Nah, there's always going to be some demons in there and if he's under the spotlights and cornered on live tv anything could happen. How could they insure him? If I was one of the producers and he was on the show I'd probably become a raging alcoholic by the time it's over due to the stress.

they would BE TERRIFIED to let him in. WOULD NOT HAPPEN EVER

[rquote=2554997&tid=147150&author=misterdude]I don't know man, a lot of people would be p****d off. He p****d a lot of people off by fighting in Scotland becasue he's a convicted rapist. The guys an animal, if he gets in an arguement he might wreck someone, he bit a guys ear off when boxing not giving a damn about his career or the rules.
Amazing boxer during the peak of his career, though.[/rquote]

That was in 2000 and I went to that fight. Almost 10 years ago and you bring it up like it's relevant! The man is a different 'beast' now so to speak. He's not just an 'animal' as we was in the ring, and yes, sadly, sometimes out - see the recent film 'Tyson' as I posted on this thread and read about the man before jumping to conclusions. Sure, he has done some gutter stuff, but that's where he's from. He's had alot of tragedy in his life that he's had to come to terms with and deal with, He has said he hates the old Tyson and doesn't even know who that man is anymore. He also has bipolar disease and is a multi-plex character. Stop the cr*ppy labels.

He got standing ovations at Cannes on several occassions for his honesty in the film, with the audience and with the way he conducted himself (and they mobbed him too!).

There is no way he would do it anyway...so it's really a mute point (and as I said don't get me started on Tyson - haha).

[rquote=2554059&tid=147150&author=atieah2009]I would stick Evander Holyfield in there aswell![/rquote]

Who?

If CBB want ratings it`ll have to have celebs that are well known TODAY with Young Viewers not singers that only people over 60 would know.

Deleted, multiple accounts

[rquote=2554059&tid=147150&author=atieah2009]It's probably impossible but how amazing would that be, i think after losing all his money probably on assault and rape cases that he can handle his temper(not) but i would love to see the way he expresses his feelings towards other housemates. I would stick Evander Holyfield in there aswell![/rquote]

It never occurred to me to blend boxing with big brother but here is the obvious problem:
Mike Tyson is NOT a person who ought be in ANY sort of reality show scenario and especially NOT Big Brother.
This is a fun fantasy of yours but it's not worth campaigning for or more than a one-off 'what-if' topic.
It is not even close to reality.

Evander Holyfield may have been the greatest Heavyweight Champion of his decade,
but,
as much as I love and respect his heart and determination that man has as close to zero personality as it gets. He makes Lennox Lewis seem colourful and vibrant and chatty. Holyfield missed out on millions in advert deals because nobody could find any personality or speaking ability or social charisma to sell anything with.
He may have a nice personality (he seems to) and be a very nice man (he seems to be) but NOTHING comes across in front of cameras.

I DO like the idea of some Boxing legends on a CBB but you don't need to keep picking Americans for CBB and there are enough colourful/weird/extroverted/etc personality people to choose:
*Obviously Chris Eubanks (total nut, fascinating, odd and under-rated champion, already done but could be CBB 'all-star'),*
and,
Someone like Prince Naseem of course,
Lloyd Honeyghan?

Frank Bruno is big bold and I suspect a lot more obnoxious and temperamental than he puts out at charity events,
and,
Yes, Ricky Hatton would be superb (huge prankster, fast funny attitude, energy/drinking eating )

Joe Calzaghe, Lennox Louis, Barry McGuigan - with zero comment on their Boxing careers may not be very interesting BB HMs.

Right away I know there is 50 more I haven't though of yet but the point being that its fun to think of Mike Tyson but that is impossible and should never happen,
and,
EVEN IF he was entered it would either make everyone else so uncomfortable as to all but shut-down and freeze-up any organic social flow,
or,
too many celebs would decline,
and,
considering that we already see people 'snap' on Big Brother and throw punches then it is not wise to include someone who has actually registered their fists as 'weapons' and rightfully so because he could literally kill someone with a punch should he snap.
......and if all that wasn't enough, tragically, his daughter was just recently killed in his own home by a freak 1-in-a-million bizarre accident.
So no.

Celebrity Big Brother actually with celebrities is awful. We want sub z-listers for a decent series. Look at CBB, only 2 entertaining series'. Those 2 have the most unknowns in.

BBmassive 10-09-2009 08:02 AM

I truly hope hes not

Don't be ridiculous! He is a convicted rapist! They couldn't put him in the cbb house - too many complaints - and rightly so!

uvhater 10-09-2009 09:14 AM

no, the "celebs" will want to be safe and go out with their ears intact.

atieah2009 13-09-2009 08:15 PM

I want at least a c list celeb for crying out loud
