After 13 weeks of viewing, i think it's fair to say we actually do know the housemates to an extent, and if charlies yearning to be noticed or sophies fake act of being a silly little lassie begins to grate that much that the feelings turn to hatred then to me thats completely acceptable. Do people moan when people say they love certain housemates ?[/rquote] thats bull **** i liked marcus from the first night |
ok i will make a pro marcus thread see how long it is before the haters spit there bile

As I said before, you are a total hypocrite! You were calling Ashleine a '*****' in another thread - that is pretty damn hateful mate - not to mention libellous! So it is alright for you to call other hms vile names - but not alright for anyone else to criticize your precious Marcus! [/rquote] Its not libelous, given it wasn't made as a statement of fact about the person with some "evidence" to back it up and it is made on a forum where such offhand comments would be taken to be opinions as opposed to facts. It could however be taken as a hateful comment depending upon the context in which it was stated[/rquote] I said the word libellous because 'nut' is the one always accusing others of making libellous statements! He is always doing it - so I was just showing him what a hypocrite he is! [/rquote]where have i been making libellous threads or posts? the one where i called ashleen a ***** your talking about? I made that because i wanted to see what dixiebell1991 would have to say about it? yet she said nothing, but you did = same affect and i proved my point with you. you do make hateful posts about HM's posting negitve posts all the time is hateful you hate marcus show me 1 post where you have said 1 positive thing about him or even a neutral post for that matter? you cant because you have never made one its all "marcus is a perv, marcus is a stalker, marcus is ugly, marcus should cut his hair, marcus as bad breath" ect... the fact that you keep on and on is a sign of hate:rolleyes: 99% of my posts on here are infact fighting marcus's corner he is not here to fight so im just saying that what most people say about him is full of hate when infact he should not be hated he was on a game show thats over why is there a need for people who disslike him still carry on and pis* his fans off? whats they'er problem?[/rquote] You didn't read the post properly again! I said you often accused others of making libellous posts! Actually - after reading your post again - you have made a libellous comment - accusing me of calling him ugly - I have never said that! In fact - when wrongly accused of that before - I have pointed out how I liked Marcus in the beginning - it was his behaviour with Noirin that changed my mind! His looks have bugger all to do with my opinion - you really should get your facts straight before mouthing off at people! |

They shouldnt be attacked for posting an opinion. However, it does get tedious when the same names crop up again and again in any thread of certain housemates, basically just coming into them to spit venom all over. Especially when most of the people in question rarely make positive posts about anything... |

i agree vicky no one should be attacked for posting their thoughts on a housemate but why do it in a pro thread when there is plenty of hate threads about each housemate i think there do it for a reaction

Maybe that's partly because they won't be intimidated out of expressing their opinion! Even mods can be biased sometimes! [/rquote] Expressing an opinion is perfectly fine. What I have trouble understanding though is why on earth anyone would want to spend all their time on the site posting hate messages. Never anything positive for housemates they do like. And if that was your attempt at saying I am biased, Im not. And would appreciate it if those accusations werent going round to be honest. Whenever we recieve reports, they are dealt with in the same way, no matter which housemate the post in question is about. |

I think there is a reductionist view in what you are saying. Firstly, you do know the person. You are trying put a grading on how well you know something... who is worthy of judging somebody? Their partner? Mother? Father? Friend? Neighbour... Some would say nobody... The fact is, this show thrives on likes and dislikes. People create the good guys on the show and the bad guys - and you follow on your own relationship to the story from that. Just like fairytales, you hate the wicked witch and you root for the damsel in distress and wait for knight in shining armour to come. For instance... what did Freddie do in the Big Brother house apart from moaning and groaning about not being disliked to everybody? Just for clarity, I'll rephrase that... what did Freddie do in the house apart from being (not my opinion this) ganged up on by Lisa and her clique who got everybody in the house from Marcus to Siavash to Rodrigo to vote for him? My point is, without Lisa, Marcus wouldn't have been popular, neither would have Freddie. They both argued with her and because Lisa was the archetypal "wicked witch" of this story, you rooted for anybody who wasn't part of Lisa - even though for 10 whole weeks she was very very quiet and basically sat around smoking... If this is your view of 13 weeks. Anyway... Big Brother only ended last week... Expect the hatred or love in or in Marcus fans' case the feeling of "what the **** was I doing admiring such an ugly loser like that?" to settle in until the end of September - by which point Strictly and X Factor will be in full swing. Just give it a chance - the excitement to fall over. The BBBM reunion is on tonight. That should ruffle some feathers... [/rquote] Hi Massive, I don't agree with virtually anything you post, but I would defend to the death your right to have your opinion. I come on this forum to interact with other BB fans, not all of whom are going to share my views on the HMs. I find it fascinating how people can have such diametrically opposed views on the HMs, when we have all been watching the same show for 13 weeks! Vive la difference:thumbs: |
