I've had 2 serious relationships (ie longer than 3 months :joker:) and both ended horrifically ... before that when it was just a bit of fun they tended to end on really good terms and I still speak to those girls now. I speak to the first serious one a little bit but nowhere near as much as I used to, and I can't stand the sight of the one who I've just come out a relationship with

You obviousely haven't met the right person yet, you wouldn't even have to think about taking a chance with them if you had. You're better off being single rather than being with someone just for the sake of it.It never works out!
